Issue: Improper use of your report
Subissue: Credit inquiries on your report that you don't recognize
Consumer Complaint: I received my credit report in XX/XX/XXXX and noticed inquiries that I do not recognize. I sent the creditor a dispute letter asking for proof of authorization. Their response is as quote : " You requested that we investigate an inquiry placed on your personal credit file by Credit Acceptance. Please be advised that Credit Acceptance will only make an inquiry on a personal credit file when it receives a request for automobile financing through a Dealership that offers financing through Credit Acceptance. '' This is a direct violation of my rights under FCRA 611.

Subissue: Problem with fees charged
Consumer Complaint: I was in a car accident and my car had been totaled. I was in need of a car that same weekend for work because I travel and have to carry equipment. Nothing was really explained as to why it was charged, it was simply here 's the fee with no explanation behind it. I was under a lot of stress just trying to get a car because of how quickly I was going to need it for work. Because of the distress that I was under I was not able to ask any of the proper questions and they had the ability to charge me any sort of Financial Charge without me being able to question it.

Consumer Complaint: The financing company repossessed my vehicle after EVERY single payment was made on time and then not even 24 hours of it being late they repossessed it for being Late. I had to pay repossession fees AND also hefty fees to the financing company ON TOP of my already HIGH payment. MY bank told me that they should have at least tried to bill my auto payment twice or three times before REPOSSESSING the vehicle. It was IN my bank account. NOW my credit report shows that I had a missed payment. Also CURRENTLY I have made EVERY SINGLE payment BEFORE the agreed upon date each month so my credit report SHOULD show the actual payments. I am NOT happy about the fact that the XXXX only shows I paid until XX/XX/XXXX when that is INCORRECT. I have paid EARLY every single month for this ENTIRE YEAR. I want the credit Bureaus to reflect the CORRECT payments. All it states on my credit reports is that it is current but only shows that I made payments through XX/XX/XXXX. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 I had an automobile accident. From the date of the accident until now, the auto loan company credit acceptance no longer dealt with me. This should not be a negative impact against my credit. I was not at fault for their miscommunication and now I'm suffering from the effects. Please help me remedy this situation.
