Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX, has unlawful obtain my credit report for financial services with Credit Acceptance and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX after I was pre approval by XXXX XXXX XXXX. The owner refuse financial services from my bank after pre approval to only provide financial services with Credit Acceptance and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX after my bank approved me for financial services for an car. The owner is refusing XXXX XXXX consumers financial services and is only using the pre approval letter from XXXX XXXX to financial with Credit Acceptance which is control by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I didn't ask for financial services but was pre approval with XXXX XXXX which is my Bank. XXXX XXXX XXXX call my phone stating they were XXXX XXXX XXXX and I was approved for XXXX

Consumer Complaint: It was happened in XX/XX/XXXX were XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX XXXX sent the title of the loan to Motor Vehicle Registration. They sent the title to me. It cause to Credit Acceptance Bank close the loan because of the tittle. The dealership call me to renegotiate the loan because of the mistake. They took the car in XX/XX/XXXX XXXX. I keep communication with the bank, because the promised sent all my money I pay to the loan. ( {$1400.00} ). In multiple times they sent to paycheck at my name to the dealer, but the dealer lie me, justifying they don't received the check. But Credit Acceptance sent my check. I decided move to XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. I called a lot of times to Credit Acceptance to report I will leave XXXX to other address ( XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX ). The told me they will consider send to me a new check. In XXXX the sent again the new check to dealership in XXXX XXXX. I need recover my money ( XXXX ). additional I Pay {$1500.00} of down payment. I made payments of the insurance ( XXXX ) for more than one year. It affected my credit because of loss my car.

Consumer Complaint: I opened an auto loan with Credit Acceptance corp. Due to a repossession in my past I was told I would need to allow them to install a vehicle tracker in my car. This did not seem unreasonable at the time but since then I have learned they are able to remotely disable my vehicle and will call me, sometime 7-8 times an hour, requesting payment of a late fee or service fee even though according to my credit report, I have made all of my payments on time since XX/XX/XXXX of last year. I am often confused about the nature and origin of these fees but will pay them out of fear that I will be stranded or not able to get to work. I have asked to move my billing date to allow me to get caught up and remain in good standing with my loan but they refused and the seemingly random fees make it impossible to get ahead. I feel as though I am being held hostage and have no idea if what they are doing is legal. Please help me.

Consumer Complaint: In 2009 my purse was stolen and it contained all my personal information ( driver 's license, social security card, birth certificate and all my children 's personal information ). When i got my credit report there were things that i didn't do. I contacted credit acceptance about a car loan/lease that appeared on my credit report. I explained that I am a victim of identity theft and the loan/lease was opened fraudulently by someone else that is using my identity, I sent in proof of my identity theft. I sent a police report, affidavit from Federal Trade Commission, affidavit from DMV, and a statement from me explaining the situation.I have several attempts to rectify this situation and it's still here affecting my credit. It's affecting my life and i didn't even do it. I have never applied or accepted and loan/lease from Credit Acceptance, so it should be removed as soon as possible. My credit report says the amount is for {$14000.00} and the account was opened on XXXX XXXX. I have knowledge of this account because i have never applied for any loans. After call after call and letter after letter, Credit Acceptance will not do anything.I need help.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I was contacted by email by the company Credit Acceptance regarding a vehicle purchase from their dealership in Arizona. I responded to the email with inquiry as to how a vehicle was purchased in my name when I don't possess a driver 's license and have never been to the state of Arizona. I was sent a packet with the loan details inside with address on the contract as : XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, Arizona XXXX. The seller information as : XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, Arkansas XXXX. The information on the vehicle as : Used XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX - Color ( White ) - VIN - XXXX - Odometer Reading - XXXX. The company also sent a fraud packet for me to complete however they need me to provide my identification card and social security card copies because the account could not be pulled up on the automated system by my social security number. Also, the person whose name is on all of the documentation no longer works for the company.

Consumer Complaint: I was told to response and receive by USPS mail a letter from Credit Acceptance. A pre agreed to amount I paid {$200.00} whenever I received letter and I did. This month XX/XX/XXXX the agency reported that I missed a payment and I did not. As per agreed I called in and was on an endless circuit which returned and never connected me to pay so I mailed payment before its due. Therefore I dispute the claim I missed a payment. I want that " missed payment '' corrected since it negatively impacts my credit immediately.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX, we filed chapter XXXX bankruptcy in the Federal Courts of XXXX Indiana. After the case was filed, Credit Acceptance pationed the court to have the vehicle returned to them. The vehicle was in the state of California, they were told where the vehicle would be and to pick it up. A week went by and the bank did not pick up the car. The apartment complex where the vehicle was, had the vehicle towed. The company that towed the vehicle tried for many months to contact the bank to let them know he had the vehicle. The person that towed it put a mechanic 's lien against the car for towing and storage fees. After the required time the person that towed the vehicle had the state of California crush the car. Credit Acceptance never made an attempt to secure their interest after pationing the federal court. Now in XXXX, Credit Acceptance brings a debt garnishment suit to the state of Wisconsin and is given said garnishment for a debt that was suppose to be settled in federal court. They are garnishing my check for the balance owed, even though they never secured there interest in the pation that was given in federal court. Our bankruptcy case was dismissed in XXXX.
