Consumer Complaint: I have notified the company Credit Acceptance in regards to my XXXX XXXX XXXX. However, I notified Credit Acceptance a few days after I been released from the hospital on XX/XX/XXXX, due to a XXXX XXXX. I have spoken to a representative to extend my payments on the back of my loan for two months due to financial issues and COVID-19. I was advised per the representative that my payments will resume on XX/XX/XXXX of {$290.00}. I have reached out on XX/XX/XXXX due to a disturbing phone call that I was past due of {$580.00}. I have spoken to a representative and supervisor on XX/XX/XXXX and stated that it was notated as payment arrangement, and was also advised no extensions are given. Per the supervisor apologized for the confusion.

Consumer Complaint: A sub-prime lender I am having problems with a warranty issue for a vehicle loan. Marked me 30 Days late on my account. This only occurred when I have a current dispute with a warranty I am trying to get refunded. Which i reached out to the dealer for possible Fraud. I have submitted my bank accounts statements as to when the payment was made. XX/XX/XXXX was the due date. Which was a Saturday. They posted my payment on Monday the XXXX. Or I believe they may have said the XXXX. In any case I paid on the XXXX. I do NOT have one late payment to that account. Nor do I have any late payments on my credit report for any account I have. All my accounts get paid on time. The balance in my checking account was more than 50 times the amount of the payment. The funds were available. They refuse to correct the 30 days late and it is causing major financial difficulties. My score went from XXXX to XXXX. From that one FALSE late payment in that account I am disputing. This is unfair. Especially during a pandemic I am struggling to keep everything current and they are falsifying or not taking the time to research the paid item.

Consumer Complaint: Credit Acceptance Corp is appearing on my credit report even though they are past the statute of limitations. I hired a credit repair organization called XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX has already disputed this item which is past the statute of limitations, and the 3 bureaus are still incorrectly reporting this loan. XXXX shows the account is in collections. XXXX and XXXX are both showing 120+ days late. The bureaus are also unwilling to remove this item. The last date i challenged this item is on XX/XX/XXXX. The date credit acceptance opened is XX/XX/XXXX. The drop off date is XX/XX/XXXX. The account number is XXXX. The balance is {$9300.00}. Please help!

Consumer Complaint: My ex husband and I got a loan in XXXX for a vehicle, I was the co signer. The loan was almost all paid off but before it was we divorced. In the divorce settlement it is written that my ex husband take all the marital debt and it be removed by the creditors and bureaus. I have been fighting this company since XXXX of XXXX. I have written letters to them, sent the court order that is signed and filed. Sent the same to all three credit bureaus. Just talked with XXXX from Credit acceptance, she stated in a recorded call that this company doesn't accept or honor divorce decrees. I don't even know what the balance was for. I am trying to get a home loan and keep being denied because of this BS. How can any company not HONOR A COURT ORDER????? Isn't that what we have courts for order? So in order to free myself of their racketeering scam I was forced to pay it off, so in due time ( on their schedule of course ) they will say its been satisfied, that is not good enough, this is not my responsibility to pay for it. I went through the right channels to get it removed from my responsibility when the divorce happened.

Consumer Complaint: Good afternoon, Five years ago, I did take out a loan with Credit acceptance. Unfortunately the past two years, I have had significant health challenges that led to my need to create payment plans. There were several times that I spoke to credit acceptance and the representative did in fact say that as long as the payment plans were in place, I would not have a mark on my credit. However, upon reaching out to the XXXX, the representative in compliance, better known as " Z, '' called me. She was extremely abrasive and informed me that she would not review all of the calls and would not make any changes. Additionally, she said that she didn't believe that the XXXX dispute said that the company would make changes. I know that this company is a sub prime lender but at the time, I was in college and needed the loan. Please help as this is the only thing that is derogatory on my credit.

Consumer Complaint: I am sending another complaint because this account still shows as open and states it has been charged off 37 times on my credit report. I am attaching a picture of my XXXX credit report versus my XXXX credit report. In XXXX the account was closed and held a less amount. In XXXX the charged off account shows as open with a higher amount. It is also now reporting as late payments when before it was showing an N for negative. You are not supposed to reopen a charged off account. You also should not be showing my payments as late because I have not made a payment to you all since XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX I am filing a complaint with the Attorney General Office against Credit Acceptance Corp. After they repossession the car and sale the car my deficiency was {$9500.00} which after all the money Credit Acceptance collect on the car I do not own them a dime .The principal was {$13.00} the car sold for {$4600.00} plus {$6500.00} from GAP .They respond to the complaint about the car dealer I was filing in XXXX and close the case, but the did not answer the complaint about rip off and over charge and they add almost {$3000.00} on top the {$9500.00} please help me out .The only thing I ask for these people to take this thing out off my credit report.
