Consumer Complaint: I have sent 3 dispute letters on the dates below because CREDIT ACCEPTANCE is reporting inaccurately and violating my rights under the FCRA and FDCPA. This account has been closed since XX/XX/XXXX and it is still reporting as an open account, there are late payments still reporting even after this account has been closed and this account has been illegally re-aged from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX, so they are reporting old debt as new debt. On XX/XX/XXXX, I disputed an account reported by CREDIT ACCEPTANCE and I was informed on XX/XX/XXXX that the item was deleted from my XXXX credit report. Now I have discovered that the item has been reinserted on my credit report and I was not notified of the reinsertion in writing within 5 business days. Consumer Complaint: The original loan was with Credit Acceptance and the amount was for {$11000.00}. The loan is now at {$22000.00} which is 50 % interest rate. The car was a lemon and told them we wanted to do a voluntary repossession. They never came to get it. They then sold the account to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. They took us to court and won the judgement and a lien was put on our bank account and then emptied. Credit Acceptance is still reporting on my husbands and my credit reports when they sold the account. The original loan was opened XX/XX/XXXX. The judgement that XXXX XXXX received against us was XX/XX/XXXX. I want credit acceptance to be removed from our credit reports as the account holder. They just dropped our scores over XXXX points because they reported it as 180 days late, which was years ago, and added another {$100.00} to the balance.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX my husband and my daughter took his nieces information and used it to purchase a car. His niece reached out to me today and it is time the truth come out. She stated she has been disputing the charges. She is not liable for this account. Back in XXXX we all lived in a family house and I dont know what gave him the idea to take her information fraudulently and commit identity theft. He got my daughter involved. The dealer didnt pay close attention to the copy of drivers license and let them use it. This is a case of identity theft. My husband has sense passed away and I believe guilt from doing all of this has a lot to do with it. He diverted all the mail so that no mail would go to the house. He opened bank cards in their name, he forged letters and had money taken from their work checks. In XXXX my daughter wrote a letter to Credit Acceptance pretending as she always have to be the party at hand. She did not write a letter to Credit Acceptance. After my husband passed away my daughter surrendered the vehicle. The people this is affecting has nothing to do with this. My husband committed identity theft and opened this account fraudulently, he is no longer here to pay for his actions. I can no longer live with this on my conscience.

Consumer Complaint: Around XX/XX/XXXX my identity was stolen and someone purchased a vehicle from XXXX XXXX in XXXX, Kentucky. {$1200.00} was stolen from my account from XXXX XXXX and applied towards the down payment. Upon disputing the {$1200.00} taken by XXXX XXXX with XXXX XXXX. I was issued a credit in the amount of {$1200.00} because the investigation proved that I did not make this purchase. I have attempted several times to resolve this issue with XXXX XXXX and every time XXXX told to contact Credit Acceptance the auto Finance company. After several attempts and a year later I have not been capable of resolving the issue. Credit Acceptance stated they investigated my claim and that it was myself that purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$18000.00}. They have not presented me with any documentation to show that I bought a vehicle and they refuse to remove this account from my credit bureaus. I am exhausted with trying to resolve this issue and I would like to know what I should do to get this account removed from my credit bureaus. If I need to retain a lawyer and file a lawsuit against Ideal Auto and Credit Acceptance I will do that but I would prefer to know if thats my only option.

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to delete the following information in my file. The items I need deleted are listed in the report. I ask that the items be deleted to correct my credit report. These creditors have reached out to me through letters even after cease and desist were told. Also if my information is sold to a collection agency without my consent this should not be reporting on my credit report. It has been more than 30 days since these disputes have been filed. I am unable to attain a home or get any credit because of these inaccuracies on my credit report. These accounts also were not finance charges. Only finance charges by law should be reflecting on my credit report. I would also like to receive damages for being homeless because of lack of credit because the bureaus report inaccurate information.
