Consumer Complaint: Credit Acceptance is reporting late notations for XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX. Due to Covid, I got really slow at work. I work XXXX XXXX and work just came to a stand still for a little for me and it was hard to make my payments on time. I did not mean to be late and paid the account as soon as I could. I ask that Credit Acceptance please make a one time goodwill adjustment and remove the late payments. I was never late prior to this and have been in good standings since.

Consumer Complaint: Credit acceptance has been reporting late payments since XX/XX/2020. My car was totaled last year in XX/XX/2020 and the insurance company sent Credit Acceptance a check. I was unaware there was a balance due on my loan. Nobody from the company has contacted me nor sent me anything in the mail about the remaining balance. This account is reporting open when this account should be closed or either charge off. It is my right to have an accurate credit file and errors like this are detrimental to my financial well-being.

Consumer Complaint: on the week of XX/XX/XXXX I called Credit Acceptance I spoke with a gentleman about losing my job I was told that I qualified for the covid protection program and that for 90 days I did not have to make a payment or will receive a call about making a payment .He stated that when I could make a payment to just do so. That same week I set up a payment arrangement to pay {$20.00} on XX/XX/XXXX and which I did. So that next week I got another call explaining to the the young lady that I was in the covid protection program which she stated that I needed to still payments and call in in which told her that I was never told that. So I made another {$20.00} payment the same day. So on last Tuesday XX/XX/XXXX they spoke with my co signer which he stated that he would make the payment but due to personal reasons he could not, he too stated that I was in the covid relife program. So on today XX/XX/XXXX, I get another phone call stating that I am not in the covid relife program and that I could not even set up an arrangement for XX/XX/XXXX plus they would still call me daily to try and get a payment when clearly I have nothing to give them at this time. They call me at least 3 times a day and leave voicemails and they call my cosigner and do the same as well. At this point why would somebody say I will be okay for the next 90 days but I still get harassed daily.

Consumer Complaint: I have further looked into this debt being reported as my debt on all three bureaus and on the three different bureaus the reporting is vet different as if someone is trying to continually make this a new debt that I will not assume as my own as it it a result of identity theft, 1 XXXX has this debt listed as XXXX negative payments with one on time payment being made in XXXX. It is also being reported as 76 % of the debt being paid. That is not true I had no knowledge of this debt until XXXX of XXXX when I reported the identity theft on this account. 2 XXXX has this identity theft debt listed as 26 negative payments with 3 on time payments in XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX again stating 76 % of this debt has been paid off. 3. XXXX has this identity theft debt reported as 16 negative payments with again 76 % of this false debt paid off and 4 on time payments XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. Finally if this were a valid account belonging to me wouldnt there have been a repossession long ago?? This is identity theft and I will pursue all action necessary to remedy this situation with Credit Acceptance.

Consumer Complaint: I have repeatedly contacted this company since learning of this debt in in XXXX of XXXX. I expressed to the company that this not my debt I have never owned this vehicle and while further investigation of this debt I was told this vehicle has never been registered as well as the address listed on this account is a business address not a residential address. I was asked by this company to submit a report from Identity theft. Gov and I did immediately through the email Credit acceptance provided to me. This company has sent me a payment book in response my dispute dating back to XXXX. This account is being reported on all three of the credit bureaus as an open account with 28 late no payments. With not even one payment having ever been made. Thats preposterous why would this fraudulent account still be an open vehicle account with no payment ever made and not be repossession account. I have never in my life heard of a company continuing to report an account with not one payment made or repossession as an active and open account with 28 late payments each reporting monthly on all three bureaus. This is a fraudulent account this is not fair credit reporting and attached will be all of my documentation to them. I want this account in its entirety removed from all three bureaus on my behalf. I have and continue to have financial losses daily as a result of this account. XXXX XXXX Mortgages all have been denied as a result of the fraudulent account thats being reported by Credit Acceptance as my account. The signatures on the the account that Credit Acceptance has uploaded are all electronic signatures, they are not my signatures they are done by a computer.

I spoke With them when I was Buying my house a few months ago and they verified the account was paid in full. The original amount was {$19000.00} and a payment of {$8500.00} was a settlement amount they agreed on and then after the settlement they added it back to my credit as delinquent in the amount of {$10000.00}. This is false reporting and I want them to be held accountable. I almost Wasnt able to buy my house because of this and my interest rate is higher now.
