Consumer Complaint: I am filing this complaint for several late payments to my account which occurred during the pandemic. The late payments for XXXX were in XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. The late payments for XXXX were in XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. The monthly payment amount was {$590.00}. I made on time payments prior to the pandemic. It was a very difficult time as a single mother with XXXX kids trying to work during the pandemic. The stress and anxiety from the pandemic and also getting XXXX made it very difficult for me to work. I have called Credit Acceptance on many occasions trying to get them to work with me on those late payments and I didn't receive any assistance. The only thing I received were very rude and unconcerned representatives. I would greatly appreciate some type of leniency in these difficult times.

Consumer Complaint: My complaint is that Credit Acceptance Corp has been reporting inaccurate late payments to the credit reporting bureau 's for the following months : XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX Back Story I was adversely impacted by Covid-19 XXXX of XXXX. Prior to Covid, I had never been late on my car payments. The moment my plant was shut down, I contacted Credit Acceptance Corp. to inform them of my financial difficulties and to inquire about payment options. Credit Acceptance allowed me loan relief in the form of payment arrangements, however, I recently discovered that they have been reporting me as late to the credit reporting bureaus. I have contacted Credit Acceptance several times to inquire as to why they would report me as late if I am making my weekly payments and I have been ridiculed, laughed at, dismissed and treated very unprofessionally. Additionally, I have petitioned all 3 credit bureaus to have the late payments removed and have heard nothing back. I have gone on Credit Acceptance 's website and they have not honored any of the verbiage contained within their own website as it relates to handling those impacted by Covid-19. I feel discriminated against. https : //www.creditacceptance.com/coronavirus-response Moreover, I am entitled to an accurate credit report free from errors and what Credit Acceptance is doing is just plain wrong and violates the CARES ACT protection as it prohibits lenders from filing a negative report about the borrower to a credit rating agency. Please help me remove these late payments and make Credit Acceptance stop this unjust practice.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased a used vehicle XX/XX/XXXX, payments of {$330.00} monthly, Was working Full time. Made 4 month 's of payments on time. Early XX/XX/XXXX Covid -19 arrives. Furloughed from work. I start recieving harassing calls constantly everyday from XXXX am to XXXX pm, voice-mail s emails but no letters. Until finally my car is repo ed by tow to a hidden place. Was not told where it was until I was forced to pay what the arraignment was.. Repo # XXXX phone # XXXX payment {$700.00} Plus catch up payment {$580.00} Even having paid the calls still came as a reminder, but I felt Harssased, constantly. Monday thru Sunday. Was called back to work XX/XX/XXXX Back to bi weekly pay, shedualed payments monthly again. But previous arraignment was to pay weekly to catch up. Still under Covid restrictions mean while. Calling me everyday at work XXXX until XXXX pm, never giving up the harassing and bothering calls, I was frustrated by the methods of the dept collectors. I was fed up. Being a used car, I was having some car trouble with the electronics and seat sensors. Fell behind again, but notified the company and we agreed to make catch up payments again. Apparently it was put up to re-po and was Repossed for the 2 ND time. XXXX? Came back around paid again to get my car back. Emmeidiately, the calls. By this time I'm going crazy, thinking about how to stop this, I posted a blog on their website about how they call to much on the daily if u fall a little behind and if u don't answere thier harassing calls, they tow the vehicle at XXXX leaving u stranded and loose work witch equals loosing money. Which ultimately will be another late payment and another re -po # XXXX XXXX XXXX? As it stands right now I'm out of work on short term XXXX, recieving Food assistance to eat, going on 4 months behind on rent, no paycheck and Covid is still taking lives here in the US and I've still been recieving these calls from the debt on my " Used '' vehicle not " New '' with almost XXXX miles and # XXXX " Re - Po '' tow XXXX happened XX/XX/XXXX. So they win and I loose, Will not be able to afford to get my used car back this time.

Subissue: Loan balance remaining after the vehicle is repossessed and sold
Consumer Complaint: the vehicle i financed through Credit Acceptance Corporation was repossessed on XX/XX/2018. XXXX XXXX XXXX require that a Creditor conduct the sale of repossessed vehicle in a commercially acceptable manner. The address on file for the load i took out was my father 's address. they filed the law suit under my mother 's address. she received the court summons. I was unaware of how to proceed moving forward. I submitted an answer to my complaint and waited for a response at my fathers address. my mother moved and credit acceptance and the courts continued to send notices to the address my mother no longer lived at. this resulted in the judge granting credit acceptance the judgement. The judge wont hear me out and Credit acceptance is breaking the law in continuing to report false information and pursue monetary amounts that it is not entitled to. I can share my motion and more details with whomever can help me. everyone keeps telling me bankruptcy is the only way to make this go away and I know for a fact that Credit Acceptance has violated my consumer rights.
