Consumer Complaint: I have called Credit Acceptance requesting a letter detailing my payment arrangment and they have refused. They said they do not send out letters on customer payment arrangements. There is no way to access payment arrangement information online. There is no way for a customer to physically see a payment arrangement. The co-borrower made changes to the payment arrangement on the loan without my knowledge. Credit Acceptance did not inform me of any changes through mail, phone call, or on their portal. This information should not be withheld from borrowers. Not being willing to send out payment arrangement information is also limiting to individuals with hearing disabilities that need to see/ read information.

I called the company and told them what happened and to come get it. Since then they have put a garnishment on my check as of XX/XX/XXXX and they receive it biweekly and when I disputed the account information on my credit report that the balance they had was wrong because they werent giving me credit for the payments which is now over {$900.00} as of today they reported back saying I only paid {$240.00} and reopened the account and increased the balance and said I was behind on payment I have check stubs to prove how much Ive paid that they are not reporting and that Im not behind because Im being garnished biweekly and the balance should not have been increased over {$200.00}.

Consumer Complaint: I recieved car loan for a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX from Credit acceptance corp. I paid my bill on time every month for 7 months. The transmission in the car failed in XX/XX/XXXX. I contacted Credit acceptance to see what my options were as i could not afford the repairs and i did not want my credit score to be affected. They stated it was nothing they could do as far as paying for repairs. I asked about the process for turning the car back in to them. Credit acceptance rep stated that they would come pick the car up, it would then be sold for what they could get for it, Whatever they sold it for would be subtracted from the balance i owe which at the time was about ( balance in XX/XX/XXXX {$4500.00} ) they would send me a letter with new balance once car is sold. I never recieved a letter with the new balance. They are still reporting as if account is open til this day. They are reporting an inaccurate balance of XXXX which is more than the initial loan amount. They are reporting late payments and voluntary surrenders every month. Every time i dispute they get worst. I asked for proof of what they are reporting, and no one can furnish the proof. I asked all three bureaus XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX to verify and send me proof. But yet and still no one can show any evidence of this but its still reporting negatively on my consumer report and public records. Ive requested this to be removed for inaccuracies numerous times and yet its still reporting. This is Fraud and it is causing great stress and hardship in my life, Due to their bad business practices.
