Consumer Complaint: After careful review of the electronic application forwarded to Credit Acceptance from the dealership XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NC, I noticed Credit Acceptance changed the APR amount from when I signed the handwritten application of 7 % and after a few weeks the mailed application copy stated 22.9 %. Credit Acceptance can not verify nor confirm that the APR being charged is not an average APR for Car Loans which is Usury due to Unfair and the Illegal Interest Rate at 22.9 %. This APR has caused me harm to my credit report and finances. At the time, my credit scores remain well over 702. For example, for a Deep subprime car loan ( 300-500 ) is the average APR for used cars up to 20.58 %, my document was changed and forged increasing the APR to 22.99 %. Credit Acceptance can not confirm any different. This is usury that Credit Acceptance can not substantiate. Secondly, On XX/XX/2022, @ XXXX XXXX from Credit Acceptance compliance dept called my phone harassing me, when I submitted a cease and desist 2 years ago.

Issue: Problems at the end of the loan or lease
Subissue: Problem while selling or giving up the vehicle
Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of XXXX I purchased a vehicle from XXXX XXXX. The creditor that financed my vehicle was Credit Acceptance. When I purchased the vehicle I also purchased the extended warranty. Around XXXX of XXXX, my car left me stranded on the side of the road. I immediately contacted a tow truck and the tow truck delivered the vehicle to the dealership XXXX of XXXX. Prior to towing the truck, he looked under the hood and showed me where someone had added XXXX XXXX XXXX. I actually took pictures right then and there as well of the Pellets. Credit Acceptance informed me I would need to file a claim with the Warranty Company. The Warranty Company denied the claim because the car ran hot. They claimed I drove the vehicle running hot which voided the warranty and THAT IS SIMPLY NOT THE CASE. I was petrified and humiliated when all of this happened. I was sitting in the parking lot of the post office and I refused to even get back in the vehicle because I was scared it was going to catch on fire. In XXXX of XXXX the previous owner of the vehicle took the car in for maintenance and XXXX XXXX denied XXXX XXXX XXXX request for a new motor due to negligence by the owner. As I started doing more and more research on the vehicle and started contacting XXXX and XXXX of XXXX, I was informed by XXXX that the title to my vehicle was in fact a BRANDED title and that it was labeled as BRANDED in XXXX of XXXX. In XXXX of XXXX, XXXX of XXXX recommended the motor be replaced and requested permission to do so from Corporate. Corporate denied the request. I am assuming at that time, is when the XXXX XXXX Pellets where put into the motor so that whomever could put a bandaid on the issue and then sell the vehicle at auction. I am the LUCKY PERSON who purchased a vehicle without ever being informed that the vehicle had a Salvage Title. It is my understanding that it is up to the Creditor that finances the vehicle to ensure that the title is clear before ever financing the vehicle. In my case this would be Credit Acceptance. Once they denied my claim, I couldnt afford to pay for a new motor and pay the note, so I contacted Credit Acceptance and let them know where the vehicle was and requested that they come pick it up. This was around XX/XX/XXXX. I voluntarily gave the car back because it wouldve cost me $ XXXX to get the vehicle fixed properly and I had already spent $ XXXX on a warranty that I wouldve never been able to use because of the BRANDED TITLE. Credit Acceptance not only told me it was not there responsibility and sent me on a wild goose chase but they also started marking my credit report late in XXXX of XXXX and they continued to mark my credit report late through XXXX of XXXX. XXXX // XXXX // XXXX // XXXX // XXXX // XXXX // XXXX // XXXX // XXXX // XXXX // REPOSSESSION. This has had a TREMENDOUS impact on my credit score and none of this is my fault or my responsibility. There is no reason that it took Credit Acceptance 11 months to come pick up the vehicle when they knew exactly where it was from day one after I requested they come pick it up. I believe I am entitled to my money back for the Warranty purchased that Id never be able to use and all funds paid towards the vehicle because I was NEVER INFORMED THE VEHICLE HAD A BRANDED TITLE OR I NEVER WOULDVE PURCHASED IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. Most importantly I am requesting that the credit reporting be removed due to Credit Acceptance not holding up their end of the contract and financing a branded title as well as taking 11 months to ever come pick up the vehicle. All of this was uncalled for and none of this was my fault or my responsibility. ATTACHED : XXXX REPORT SHOWING WHERE XXXX OF XXXX IN FACT RECEIVED THE XXXX XXXX OF XXXX AND LET IT PASS INSPECTION. ATTACHED : LETTER FROM XXXX OF XXXX STATING THE VEHICLE WAS BRANDED

You are a financial institution identified in 15 U.S. Code 1681a ( t ) Financial Institution. The term financial institution means a State or National bank, a State or Federal savings and loan association, a mutual savings bank, a State or Federal credit union, or any other person that, directly or indirectly, holds a transaction account ( as defined in section 461 ( b ) of title 12 ) belonging to a consumer. For the record I do know and understand by law, who you are and who I am. 1. I would like to see your GAAP ( general acceptance accountability principles ) which is your paper trail from where/when it came directly from your account. 2. I also want to know who is the original creditor? 3. I am also requesting the Individual Masterfile ( IMF ) pursuant to 15 USC 1681G this should contain every payment I ever made, the original wet signature contract, not a copy or printouts, it should also contain info on where you got it, how you got it, and when it was stored. Consumer Complaint: I have now sent Credit acceptance a copy of my FTC identity theft report multiple times, the last time being on XX/XX/22. Pursuant to 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 ( 6 ) Duties of furnishers upon notice of identity theft-related information ( B ) Information alleged to result from identity theft If a consumer submits an identity theft report to a person who furnishes information to a consumer reporting agency at the address specified by that person for receiving such reports stating that information maintained by such person that purports to relate to the consumer resulted from identity theft, the person may NOT furnish such information that purports to relate to the consumer to any consumer reporting agency, unless the person subsequently knows or is informed by the consumer that the information is correct. They have been supplied with all of the necessary documentation from my end. I have disputed this charge over and over, and now they have a sworn statement.
