Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: I have made several attempts to get a repossession from my credit report! This is outrageous and it is keeping me from moving forward with my life. I have not only filed a report with you before but also the credit agencies and the creditor, Credit Acceptance. I am so tired of this! I want the account XXXX removed based on the law 15 U.S. Code 1681a - Definitions ; rules of construction under ( 2 ) exclusions letter B. I will attach it to my complaint. I want this removed ASAP. I am currently consulting a lawyer. I have anxiety that this has contriuted to. I am also a victim of the breach at XXXX. I keep being told by the credit agency to call the creditor and they tell me to call the credit agency. I was even told by Credit Acceptance that they would remove it and they didnt. I called them back and they wouldnt honor it. What a joke! Where is the customer service and law abiding companies.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX O purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX California. Upon purchasing the vehicle XXXX had assured me the vehicle was in great condition and had in fact just had four new tires put on as well as a new catalytic converter and vehicle was up to date with all maintenance. That being said I agreed to purchase vehicle for price of {$12000.00} TOTAL. This would be there amount just before taxes and was to include all dealership fees ect. Upon signing this price was changed and XXXX made sure to not only charge me that amount but added fees and warranty on top of price we had agreed upon. Price of vehicle ended up snowing over {$22000.00} once I received final loan documentation in my final loan which was altered upon me leaving dealership that day. Within three days of purchase the vehicle check engine light appeared and I immediately brought vehicle back to dealership. XXXX refused to take vehicle back and there was no certified mechanic on lot to help address issue. In fact it was just XXXX and another gentleman XXXX the issue showing which was bank 1 and bank 2 running too lean. They were not able to figure out issue and XXXX then assured me I can contact warranty on vehicle that I purchase and they would go ahead and fix whatever the issue may be. I then not only contacted my finance company to confirm the warranty where they in fact assured me the same thing but decided it was best at this point to go and get a full vehicle inspection. Upon taking my vehicle to a mechanic I was disturbed to find several issues with my vehicle. 1st of course being the check engine light showing ( bank 1 and bank 2 running lean ) second the vehicle NEEDED 4 brand new tires in fact they were not just put on, the tpm alert had been indicating on dash and I was told by XXXX this would clear once I drove for a little bit but Im fact this was due to two of the tire valves being broken and needing replacement, the brakes and routers in front needed replacement as well as all 4 new shocks and struts, car alarm battery is broken and alarm constantly goes off also vehicle was in need of a full tune up needed replaced. Also the vehicle was sold to me at XXXX but two mechanics in fact have assured me actual vehicle mileage is XXXX miles. I have since then attempted to contact warranty company which is wynns warranty. I have registered my warranty online and have sent several emails and voicemails but to no avail. I had to go ahead and start fixing my vehicle and had some of the repairs done so that it can be drivable in the meantime although policy clearly says make sure all claims are approved before beginning maintenance. However.. if I cant get ahold of this company how am I to do so. I have contacted credit acceptance which is the financial institution and let them know I will be suing both them as well as dealership for the altercation of my loan as well as selling me a faulty vehicle. I was told my only option was to surrender my vehicle which would then not only go on my credit and cause my credit to go down but I would most likely still owe out of pocket and be stuck without a vehicle. Upon trying to talk to them and contact lawyers for help my vehicle was repossessed. Upon paying all vehicle repossession fees as well as any fees needed and scheduling appointment to pick up my vehicle from repossession company I was informed a day before pickup date my vehicle had accidentally been sent to auction where I drove two hours to pick it up. Upon picking up my vehicle everything in my vehicle is now missing and no one knows where its gone. I am livid about all of this and think its time these companies are held liable for their actions!!!

Consumer Complaint: Credit acceptance calls me at least 5 times a day. I got into a bad accident in the state of Alabama. The car was totaled and was at a tow yard in AL. It was a hit and run accident. I live in NY so I had to pay {$1300.00} to get back to NY. The insurance company stayed I only had liability, which I am fighting them because I just got the car in XX/XX/2021. I had full coverage and GAP insurance. I am out of work on XXXX due to my injuries from the accident. I called credit acceptance and told them to go get the vehicle from the tow yard. They have the vehicle and keep calling me 5 times a day and sending letters in the mail. I am fighting the insurance company. And until my situation improves and I get back to work I can't do anything right now
