Consumer Complaint: Over the past 2 years I have submitted disputes to the organization and the credit bureau for reporting inaccurate information. Credit Acceptance continued to report inaccurate information to all 3 the credit buraus. After each dispute Credit Acceptance would come back and say the information they are reporting was accurate. In XXXX, XXXX deleted the account after a dispute due to the continuous inaccurate reporting from Credit Acceptance. I grew so tired of the back and forth between Credit Acceptance, and the credit bureaus I paid the car off early in XX/XX/XXXX and the account was closed. Today XX/XX/XXXX. I get a letter from XXXX indicating that Credit Acceptance requested to have the account reinserted into my credit XX/XX/XXXX. The account was reinserted as an open account with a {$5900.00} balance. My XXXX credit score took a hit for the reinsertion of an account with debt I don't actually owe.

Consumer Complaint: I got approved for a loan through Credit Acceptance on XX/XX/2020. The first year I spent at least XXXX on maintenance then got it repo in or around XX/XX/2020 because not only did I lose my job at the time. The money I was getting was all going into the car whether its wear and tear which is understandables but the car was having major issues that I was not aware about. I borrowed money from family to get the car out. 5 months or so later the engine literally died in Georgia on my way to texas. Paid to get it towed to XXXX and they said that I need a new engine. Credit acceptance eventually came and got it and nlw I am stuck with them calling me every single day about payments for a car that they allowed me to get that was hazardous on multiple levels.
