Consumer Complaint: The payment on my Credit acceptance loan is too expensive the intrest rate is XXXX percent. I have tried to refinance but got denied. I need help lowering the payment or resolution to pay it off. The transmission just went out i called XXXX and they denied to help me. Please help I'm drowning in debt and it is causing me XXXX and XXXX this is also preventing me from getting approved for a home loan. Also CREDITACPT XXXX XXXX with account # XXXX opened on XX/XX/2019 and a balance of {$12000.00}. I dont remember ever being late with a payment on this account. Consumer Complaint: So I bought this car in XXXX. I traded in my cruze for it. I didn't know what the interest rates were this was my first time buying a car with a lease. My interest is 22.99 % if my calculations are right I pay {$340.00} a month and only {$100.00} goes towards the actual cars price the rest goes to interest. Right now XXXX months later this car doesn't work. XXXX of last year I tried to see if they could refinance my payments. They said they don't do that. The woman was very rude didn't care to help. All she kept saying was find another finance company that will take your loan. By the tone I new XXXX would. And I've called dozens XXXX will. Because of the high miles. I bought this car at XXXX XXXX will take this loan apparently when it's more then XXXX miles or more. I have put thousands into this car. XXXX days after I bought the car I got pulled over because I had no headlights. I had to replace the covers also because they were so fogged up I couldn't see driving at night. I had to fix the control arm I've had to fix the CV axle. Now my ignition doesn't work. XXXX can figure out why. My loan in XXXX months has only gone from XXXX to XXXX. I make XXXX payments a week. I just can't keep up with the high interest rate. I looked at how much a XXXX XXXX XXXX is going for its only going for less then {$8000.00}. Now I'm at a point where I can't keep paying for a car I can't even use. And it doesn't seem I will be able to get out of this loan anytime soon to either fix the car or get a new one.

Consumer Complaint: Credit Acceptance is in violation of FCRA Section 611 ( 5a ) ( 15 U.S.C section 1681 ) : Treatment of Inaccurate or Unverifiable information. Lenders are required to sell repossessed vehicles in a commercially reasonable manner, meaning they must be sold in the same way as other cars and for average market price. Unfortunately, I still have the car in my possession over the last several years. They have reported to my credit report a past due balance on my credit report.. I have called several times to have this car returned in 2018. Yet, this company hasn't done anything and continue to report a past due and late balance to my account. They haven't attempted to pick the car up.

Consumer Complaint: Credit Acceptance Corporation is a Predatory Car lender that gave me high-interest subprime auto loan. The lender harassed me with phone calls. They called me from unknown number asking for payments. They also placed this on my credit report causing without my permission. The company has profited from this loans, and I have experienced credit harm, and lost my vehicle through repossession ( Still a harasser after repossession ), and down payments. I was also a subject to hidden finance charges, which I believe is in violations of the states usury cap. I was also unaware of this higher-risk loan. In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Credit Acceptance Account XXXX XXXX has violated my right. One of the accounts in dispute was for Credit Acceptance Corp and showed as a repossession on my credit file with all three major credit bureaus. For over a year now, Credit Acceptance Corp continues to " verify the account as accurate '' without providing me the documents necessary to validate this account. This account is not mine however the credit bureaus insist on accepting the false verification from Credit Acceptance Corp without any documents proving the validity of the account. I have sent 3 letters ( On XXXX XXXX, on XX/XX/2021 and on XX/XX/2021 ) and Credit Acceptance Corp has refused and or ignored my requests for proper documentation representing this account is accurate and of my responsibility, yet they report it as such.

Consumer Complaint: I have contacted Credit Acceptance numerous times & have gotten unsuccessful results. This company is reporting inaccurate information on my credit report also. The balance is false that they claim I owe. A lot of information they're reporting is false. The account balance was dismissed during the pandemic for insurance reasons that the collection company refuse to disclose to me. They also told me that they couldn't give me any information because they no longer have the account. Credit Acceptance told me that the account was sold to a law firm in XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) XXXX This number is non-reachable & I have no good contact for this company. Credit Acceptance is the ONLY collection listed on my credit report for this debt, NOT XXXX XXXX XXXX. This is illegal!!! This company is violating my consumer rights because they are reporting false information to the credit bureau on an account they claim they no longer have. Please DELETE this deceiving information/account from my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: I am a victim of identity theft. Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic, we are all facing which has me sitting still at home and I saw the recent news about the multiple XXXX XXXX breaches. I decided to look at my credit reports from the 3 major credit bureaus and found that someone had used my Identity. I have no idea how the theft took place. I also have no knowledge of any suspects. I did not receive any money, goods, or services as a result of identity theft. I contacted the Credit Bureau and told me to file an Identity Theft Report which I am doing.
