Consumer Complaint: Credit Acceptance has been and still is to date, violating my federally protected rights not only under the TILA but FDCPA and the FCRA. Credit Acceptance is using Extortionate means to coerce and swindle me into paying a alleged debt that is primarily for family, personal and household use violating 18 USC 894. It is unlawful to punish a consumer on an extension of credit and the employees/agents of the company that has handled this account assume criminally liable and can face up to 20 years in jail. Credit Acceptance has violated the FDCPA infringing upon my rights to privacy, sending a 3rd party repo company flashing there lights on my home with the intent to harass and oppress me into paying the alleged debt disregarding my Cease and Desist violating 15 USC 1692c ( c ) and 15 USC 1692d. I am now ACTING IN GOOD FAITH giving your company a chance to rectify this dispute. Check attachment!

Issue: Communication tactics
Subissue: Used obscene, profane, or other abusive language
Consumer Complaint: Credit Acceptance continues to disregard my complaints by saying that I'm making duplicate complaints when in reality each complaint has been singular and due to continuous verbal abuse expressed by credit acceptance and unfair treatment. Credit Acceptance is threatening repossession and damage of my credit report as well as my husband 's credit report which credit acceptance has yet to fix. I am still being affected by Covid 19 and credit acceptance explained that consumers will be protected as long as we communicate that we are affected. Credit Acceptance is being unfair and abusive towards me and my husband XXXX XXXX.

Issue: Getting a loan or lease
Subissue: Fraudulent loan
Consumer Complaint: I recently submitted a complaint to CFPB regarding Credit Acceptance. In their response, they submitted false information and provided a document that I DID NOT SIGN. In the letter that they submitted ; they state that they have received multple phone calls from someone who states that they are me. I have never called Credit Acceptance and I'm sure if someone would pull phone records it would show that it was not my voice. In the letter, they also state that I submitted a driver 's license on XX/XX/2022, when I " redeemed my vehicle after it was repossessed ''. This car has been sitting at a repair shop for most of 2022, and in fact, most of the time since my daughter acquired this vehicle. This car has never been repossessed and no one has a signature where I signed to redeem that vehicile. Why would anyone redeem a vehicle that has been broken down for years and never been paid on? Why would anyone pay to get a car from repossession when they haven't paid on the car for years? That makes no sense. This company does not know what they are doing and they are making fraudulent claims against innocent people. Again, I did not acquire any loan with Credit Acceptance. It is also ironic that they claim that I signed for redemption of a vehicle on the day that I filed a complaint with CFPB. This company has me mistaken with someone else. I have not been calling and speaking with anyone at Credit Acceptance and they can not produce any recordings of me speaking with anyone.
