Consumer Complaint: I got approved for a auto from credit acceptance and set up my auto payment to be paid auto pay. The payments for a year have been auto pay. Well I found out via my credit report that they are reporting me late and set my auto against my due date so that I am late every month although I pay my car loan every month auto pay and have for a year since I got car. I asked for auto pay to be set up bi weekly as well to cut interest. For a year they only applied XXXX to my principal. And affecting my credit by reporting me late.

Consumer Complaint: I went to XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX in Michigan. This was my first time financing a car and they made me comfortable only for me to realize they took advantage of me later on. They didnt give me a lot do options to choose from, then pressured me into getting the expedition. I got approved for {$260.00} a month, {$500.00} down on an XXXX expedition on XX/XX/XXXX through credit acceptance. All my paper work showed that i will owe about XXXX and they told me after 6 months i will be able to get a better car. On my credit acceptance account it had showed I owed almost or even more than XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX my car started to show signs of it about to break down. The engine light came on and it never drove the same. Mechanics told me I didnt even have a water pump. They told me my vehicle was horrible and shouldve never got it. I called the car sales and told them repairs were {$1000.00} plus and they did nothing. Credit acceptance never answered the phone for me, only one time. That call they did not help me fix the problem at all so I have been stuck paying credit acceptance and now I am behind on payments on a car I cant even use. I have been out of a vehicle for months and I am only XXXX XXXX XXXX. My job cut my hours and Ubers are almost {$30.00} everyday to go to work. Nobody helps me and I am all alone. I need a new vehicle and I need credit acceptance off of my credit. I cant even save money to even try and better this situation because I have to spend it on rides to work. I went to multiple dealers trying to get help and they said i need cosigner due to credit acceptance loan. I have nobody to cosign for me at all I have asked everybody I know. Please help me with this situation with credit acceptance & please include XXXX XXXX XXXX for leading me into this horrible situation as well as credit acceptance. If you need my paperwork from XXXX, Im in the process of looking for it.

Consumer Complaint: My husband bought a truck from XXXX XXXX XXXX while I was at work. He got it a few months before he passed in XXXX of 2020. It wasn't even tagged yet due to covid shutting down the tag offices in our areas. I didn't know till after he had passed and I voluntarily surrendered the vehicle and it ended up tanking my credit XXXX points that my name had been forged and it was on my husband 's truck. I sent them an email saying we loved it but I couldn't afford it. They then tried to get my insurance for XXXX worth of hail damage that was already on the vehicle. That got denied then they sold it and want me to pay the difference. I have no job and XXXX kids. I have no extra money to pay the difference is XXXX dollars. Unfortunately I just don't have that kind of money. They sent me a paper saying I'm going to be taken to court but no court date has been set and I am trying to get a home for me an my children and this is really hurting my credit. The place contacting me is credit acceptance corporations. I've tried sending proof of the signatures not matching. That I was at work during this time. I don't know what else to do.

The email is stating that I " XXXX '' utilized a loan from their company to purchase a XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX. The account they opened ends in XXXX. I did not make this purchase. I was immediately concerned this was identity theft and contacted the phone number on the email. I told them that this account was opened without my authorization and approval.
