Consumer Complaint: I bought this car, XXXX XXXX XXXX, in XXXX. I am so XXXX down ; between XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I tried to surrender the car during XXXX due to no income. Credit Acceptance refused to come get it. Interest was still accruing. Fast forward a couple of years, I make minimum payments because after COVID, Credit acceptance decided to repo the car, I paid to get it back and then they arranged a payment plan to catch up on the loan that was no way affordable, they knew that, but I had to have a car. My past due balance is now over {$11000.00} and shows balance owed {$22000.00}!!!!. They are completely ruthless. How are people supposed to live when their car payment and interest eats their entire income? Yea, I got behind, but with the interest rate and fees, there is no way I can catch up
