There were XXXX paid to the car lot. I dont remember any of this. I am no XXXX I was sat down and rushed through signing a mountain of papers. No one could digest that much information in that amount of time. I am XXXX and raising my granddaughter with no extra help. We desperately needed a car because we live out in a rural area and needed transportation. We lived off my XXXX of XXXX month. That paid rent, groceries utilities XXXX car payment and XXXX insurance. I feel I was exploited and set up for failure. I was told my credit score was a XXXX. I even went to another dealership and was denied the loan there.it was very easy to get the loan thru Credit acceptance. My credit score was not XXXX either. The interest rate as best I can calculate is like XXXX XXXX. They paid that dealership XXXX to sell me that car. I dont remember ever being told about the extended warranty and the XXXX to the dealership has no explanation

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX case was closed XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX sent a written notice that all accounts were paid in full. Info on XXXX XXXX XXXX shows that Credit Acceptance Corporation balance is paid in full - principal and interest, however ; Credit Acceptance Corporation states that {$8000.00} is owed despite what the XXXX XXXX XXXX says, what National Data Center shows, and my credit report. On XX/XX/XXXX of XXXX, I called Credit Acceptance Corporation twice, and asked to be emailed copies of the contract signed and detailed info on how {$8000.00} is still owed. The first rep stated that {$8000.00} is owed and claims he sent the requested email. The 2nd rep, stated that {$6000.00} is owed and claims he sent the requested email. I have yet to receive the information I requested from them. They did not send any copies which is a violation of the Truth in Lending Act.

As I was driving, the vehicle it broke down on the highway on XX/XX/XXXX of 2020 had the car towed to a XXXX dealership who then advised me after running a diagnostic test that my engine blew I was covered under an extended warranty for the engine only not for the bolts and also I had and contaminated oil line. I was out of a car from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/2020 and had to pay over {$6000.00} out of pocket to cover for the bolts, the oil line and labor so I fell behind in my payments being that I work for the XXXX XXXX XXXX and I do not get paid during the summer when I spoke to a representative behind in my payments, which the finance company is credit acceptance from that time on. Ive had nothing but trouble with the car and had to constantly pay for repairs each time I spoke to a representative from credit acceptance I will explain to them as to why again I fell behind in my payments Ive paid over {$1200.00} for XXXX repair XXXX for another repair and as of today I have not driven the car for a year. Im still having issues. and the cost to have that problem fixed according to XXXX is {$7900.00}. I have not driven this car in a year Ive paid over {$780.00} in transportation to get me and my daughter to work in school recently I spoke to a representative a credit acceptance about voluntary surrendering the vehicle without having an impact on my credit up to today there has been no resolution or credit acceptance want is they are monthly payment and if I dont have it, they suggest that I borrow money from someone my car was repo. This past XXXX, I was able to retrieve the car and was put on a loan modification for {$310.00} every month on the XXXX and the XXXX. I would like to surrender the vehicle being that it is a faulty vehicle and has not run for XXXX year however, I do not want an impact on my credit, and would appreciate if I can be compensated as I invested too much money into a car that has not worked in a year, thank you for looking into my complaint

Subissue: Billing problem
Consumer Complaint: I finance a car through Credit Acceptance in XXXX and during the month I found that they was charging me over XXXX XXXX XXXX interest rate, then by XX/XX/XXXX XXXX voluntary return the car because of divorce reason. Then during the same year Credit Acceptance sold the car to another car dealer for more than the value of the loan principal value paying off my debt. Later during XXXX I saw in my credit report that Credit Acceptance open the account and add a balance of {$11000.00}, immediately I call them and they offer me if I accept and agree paid them {$3000.00} in XXXX days, they will remote that information from my credit and I decline the offer. I never receive any letters or phone call from them, I called a few time requesting the information about how they calculate those charges and they hang up the call. During that moment and continue as today, Credit Acceptance are reporting on my credit that this loan is close but at the end of the month they report the account open it, increase the balance and later they report to close it. In the attachment you will see the evidence how Credit Acceptance are reporting false information, what cost me me a lot of financial problem.
