Consumer Complaint: The account was mine and my ex-husbands. When we got the divorce he got the car and has not been paying notes on it. I have begged him to refinance in his name only and when he refused I called the company Credit Acceptance where it was financed through and begged them to come get the car due to me being the military personnel on the loan. They also refused to come get the car. He has been arrested in the car numerous times and I dont want to have anything to do with it and I want it off of my credit.

They noted it in their system and said to make the minimum payment once I received income from my new job and that I may still receive a call or two per day because of my account status. Since Friday XX/XX/XXXX, Ive been receiving calls every hour as if I never spoke to anyone. I havent been employed a full week and the calls are becoming overwhelming especially while Im in training.

Consumer Complaint: This loan was started on XX/XX/XXXX for XXXX and the monthly note is XXXX. In XXXX I was out of work due to a health problem. I called the company to let them know, so I was granted a few months that I can make payments for XXXX a month, when that time was up the company called me and said that my car is on the list to get repos unless I can make a full payment of XXXX. I let them know I am out of work and I had applied for XXXX and I am waiting to hear back. I also told them to give me until Friday I have a friend who can let me borrow it that was the agreement that was on a Wednesday apparently it was fine. Then this happened Thursday, XX/XX/XXXX my car was reposed Credit Acceptance did not even wait until Friday to come to see was the note going to get paid. I call them on the phone to ask why they repose the car we had agreed for Friday. Then I was told that they can't do anything about it, I was told the only way I can get my car back is to agree to a payment of XXXX a month if I don't they want to tell me where the car is and I can't get it back it will go up for auction. I had to agree to their tern and send them XXXX first before I can know where the car is and get it back. Now I have been getting help for 12 months paying XXXX on the car now I was approved for XXXX i ask the company can we try to settle this loan for what I had already paid or drop the note. I was told they can't and that maybe I should surrender the car. The remaining balance is XXXX which includes a past due balance of XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I tried to fix this problem with credit acceptance corp XXXX XXXX and XXXX I disputed this for paid in full or off of my credit report for fraud credit acceptance corp agreed to all the credit bureaus that the information was correct about me being a cosigner and on credit acceptance buyer declaration the terms and agreements were suppose to be on point but it's not the reason why saying this is if I told you I was the cosigner and all the three credit bureaus said it's correct about me being the cosigner why is my signature under the buyer and not under cosigner that seems fraudulent to me and needs to be on my account as paid or remove it off for fraud

Consumer Complaint: I was financed with the company back in XXXX due to some financial issues. I had to voluntarily give up the vehicle. A year later estimated was XXXX of XXXX. Since then the company has reported my account as opened when this account has already been. Closed due to the repossession. They are charging me every month as if I have vehicle and as if I am past due Since giving up the car. They tell me the they don't have possession of the vehicle which I have spoken to the repo company and the loan company to voluntarily give up this vehicle. They are reporting to the credit bureau every month as a late payment over twenty four months are showing late since the repo. They are claiming they never picked up the vehicle and don't have the vehicle. I have tried reaching out to find a resolution and can not get them to fix it. My credit is being affected the balance is showing over 28 thousand dollars and keeps growing they keep reporting the payment late every month this should have been closed and reported as a repo.

Consumer Complaint: Credit Acceptance corporation Was very deceitful in the agents portrayal of deferring of auto payments saying that the deferred payments would be added to the End of the loan and extension of the payoff dates. Soon after the deferring of auto loans ( 2 ) that I have they demanded the entire deferred balance ( nearly 6 months for 2 cars approx XXXX $ ) in addition to the standard monthly payments! That's NOT a deferral that's simply deceitful and literally lying. So when continuing payments they have for nearly 3 years considered my payments behind 6 months on my credit report. Also Credit Acceptance Corporations debt and calling the customers collection program is absolutely non stop. I get collection calls BEFORE XXXX XXXX AND AFTER XXXX XXXX often and holidays and weekends some weeks I have received nearly XXXX calls! More than several per day. Please take some action against this company!

Consumer Complaint: From 2018 through the end of the loan they started reporting me late when I was paying on the payment date. Also I called them about that several times and they didnt fix the issue, the company is horrible right now they have lawsuits against them. Due to the fact of fraudulent information on the customers who is currently with them, and as myself for people who have paid out their accounts. Almost every month they were reporting my account delinquent and messing up my scores with the credit bureaus. The more I reached out to this company it seemed the worst it gotten. I had no clue what I was dealing with until I got involved with the company. Now Im trying to move forward with my credit and cant because if this fraudulent reporting. Can you please help me with this situation, the name of the company is Credit Acceptance. My car note was XXXX a month, they added so much late fees during the coarse of the loan until I almost paying another car payment just dealing with late fees. They truly got over on me.
