Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, my account with XXXX XXXX was transferred to another carrier. Arrangements were made in person at XXXX XXXX store in XXXX, CA and with the new carrier. All devices were included. The new carrier stated that XXXX would be notified of the transfer. Beginning in XXXX, I received a bill stating my XXXX account was not paid. The amount on the bill was for both XXXX and XXXX. I immediately tried to contact XXXX but all attempts to call were directed to a robot that didn't offer any way to contact a person and its menu was useless. I tried different phone numbers for customer service with the same result. Dialing " 0 '' during the call was not effective. I contacted a chat line and was told that the problem would be addressed. In XXXX and XXXX, I called a chat line and was told either the entire bill would be paid with no alternative. On XXXX, I was told I could pay the remaining XXXX bill even though no service was provided. On XX/XX/XXXX, I paid {$130.00} and was told that would end the account. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received another bill for XXXX. All attempts to resolve this has failed and I am not paying for a cancelled account with no service. There is now a device number on the bill for a device that I don't recognize. Today, I received a bill from a collection agency.

Consumer Complaint: A fraudlent phone account and two phones were purchased through XXXX XXXX. I was notified this when I received a bill for this ( I had a XXXX account years ago with different numbers, but I have been with XXXX for the last 4+ years ). I spent hours on the phone and online with a multitude of XXXX XXXX departments, the XXXX XXXX Police Department, and the three credit bureaus. My credit was frozen ( at my request ) and I was assured by XXXX that this was a fraudulent account and things were settled. Luckily my credit was frozen as an attempt was made to open a fraudulent phone account with XXXX. Today I received a collection notice from Convergent collection agency. I have disputed this account and provided copies of the erroneous bill as well as the police report. I am unable to reach Convergent as it is a weekend. Unfortunately, I will be out of the country XXXX and so will not be able to contact them before I leave. My credit score has been stellar and I hate to see this be erased. I also am unsure what else I can do on my end to prevent further action on this fraudulent matter involving identity theft.

Consumer Complaint: I Received a letter from the company that my collection will be removed from the credit bureaus once agreed upon payment. The letter also states that we have a agreement, not only do we have a agreement. The company Convergent Outsourcing has inaccurate information reporting to all credit bureaus. It states my collection was open on XX/XX/2018 on two accounts but on the third one it reports totally different. I disputed this information twice to the creditor and it still remains present. Also, I noticed that several others have had the same complaint with the same creditor reporting inaccurate information. This shows that they aren't to be truthful. Furthermore, the integrity of this company speaks volume when promising deletion and never being deleted. In my attachments you will see XXXX XXXX XXXX attachments to solidify my complaint.
