Consumer Complaint: Hello- I'm filing this complaint because XXXX is trying to collect a debt that we don't owe. Here is what happened : We had asked XXXX to terminate our connection on XX/XX/XXXX as we were moving out of our then home at XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX, Illinois. XXXX did not act on this and kept billing us over and over again. Until they finally cut our service. I called them numerous times for an updated bill, they didnt respond to this as well. I called their customer service ( name, date ) : XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXX/XX/XXXX. Im spending my time on this for their inability to work through these things. This is seriously stressing me out. Our XXXX account number : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Our debt collection # : XXXX I hope proper action is taken. Thanks!

Consumer Complaint: I called Convergent on XX/XX/2022 in order to get some more information about this debt. I have been monitoring my credit heavily the past few months due to trying to buy a home and I never received anything in writing from them to let me know about this debt before it appeared on my credit which they do have to notify me, in writing, prior to reporting and they did not do so. If they had followed the proper procedure I would have entered an agreement with them then to resolve this. I did call them to make an attempt to deal with this, but again they did not notify me in writing prior to reporting on my credit.

Consumer Complaint: Receive a letter from Convergent Outsourcing CLAIMING I owed {$590.00} to XXXX Account # XXXX from XX/XX/2021 with their reference # of : XXXX. I've NEVER had any account with XXXX and in fact they do not service this area as we have XXXX which is paid in full automatically every month via a direct withdrawal from our checking account. [ Lived here over 40 years ] Checked on the web and saw numerous claims regarding this scam company and even reports of lowered credit ratings after contacting them { which is why I am turning to you and not them }. In my XXXX years on this planet I've never not paid my bills when they were due and such people attempting top say otherwise makes my blood boil.

Consumer Complaint: I have reviewed my credit file much because I aged out of foster care and didn't know how. I discovered XXXX on my credit report back in XXXX of 2021. I disputed with XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. I disputed it with XXXX. I have disputed it several times with all respective parties. I don't know what they are using to verify this debt other than my information that was fraudulently used. I am not sure who used my information and I wouldn't even know how to find that out. I filed a police report back in XXXX of 2021 and have submit it to the before mentioned entities. I also filled out the forms from XXXX and mailed them back. The issue is still not resolved. I have done everything that Consumer Finance and the Fair Credit Reporting Act has recommended me to do. My actions have brought me to move forward with filing a complaint with Consumer Finance, the Fair Credit Reporting Act and my attorney generals office. I want this matter resolved as soon as possible. I do not owe XXXX any money.

This debt with XXXX was not authorized by me. My wife and I were living outside of the XXXX for over XXXX months starting in XX/XX/XXXX thru XX/XX/XXXX. I have never had a XXXX account ever in life. The carrier we have used for XXXX years has been XXXX. Convergent claims a fraud packet was mailed out on XX/XX/XXXX. I have not received such a packet and it's been XXXX weeks. I have a lease and passport stamped to prove my claim. This inaction is causing my credit score to decline. Consumer Complaint: Cancelled my services because of a high bills. I spoke to manager who gave me the balance due which I paid. They ported my number out to the new code, after 5 months received a notice From a collection agency that I owed {$690.00}. I contact XXXX and no one could give me the reason why the amount was owed until I had the account escalated and spoke w account finance which explained the manager gave me the incorrect balance to pay. Advised me would waived all charges if I paid {$450.00} and removed all information from the credit bureaus. All Charges where suppose to be removed due to misunderstanding of charges by their manager. Collection agency has place 4 hard inquires in my credit file and I would like all of them removed wirh a letter of removal.
