Consumer Complaint: A collection company, Convergent, the 2nd collection agency employed by XXXX XXXX, has been sending letters and contacting me even after I told them this account is in " Dispute Status '' with XXXX XXXX. I have chat, phone call & certified letter evidence that XXXX XXXX was notified this account is in dispute and the reasons why were documented and sent to them in multiple ways. They still sent this to Convergent for collection. Convergent reported this on my credit reporting & did not list it as " disputed ''. Notice of Billing Dispute XXXX XXXX XXXX cell # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Account # XXXX Disputed Amounts : 1 ) {$510.00} erroneously added to my XX/XX/2022 bill for International Roaming Data usage. This was caused by an error by XXXX XXXX. I called in XXXX oXXXX XXXX to turn off all International Roaming & International Calling Plans due to unhappiness with the costs and functionality issues. XXXX XXXX agreed to suspend all international data usage but failed to do so. 2 ) {$350.00} Promotional Chargeback listed after my account was moved to XXXX in XX/XX/2022. I am being charged some form of early cancellation fee for a Gift Card that I never received or used. I was month to month with no early termination penalties in my contract with XXXX XXXX. In addition, you put me under duress by threatening to suspend my cell ph # service. My cell ph # is needed for my work. This constituted a Breach of Contract and is why I was forced to drop XXXX as my carrier for cell ph service. XXXX XXXX, No Final Payments will be made until you correct the above-mentioned issues. I dispute 100 % of both charges listed above and any additional collection, early termination or any other charges XXXX XXXX attempts to make up. In addition to XXXX XXXX receiving this Dispute Letter, a copy will also be sent via certified mail to all 3 credit repositories, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX was given every opportunity to fix these errors. Instead, you chose to try to bully me into paying an erroneous disputed charge at the threat of having my cell ph # suspended. XXXX breached our agreements. XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/2022

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX On XXXX I seen that a negative report had been entered on Credit report by XXXX XXXX for XXXX as their third-party bill collector. I had an account with XXXX which I believe started on XXXX at the XXXX store in XXXX, MO XXXX XXXX After a month or so of constant problems, issues, and calls to XXXX for help I decided to change carriers once again. I ported my number to XXXX after a month of tolerating XXXX unacceptable service level. I watched my billing from XXXX waiting for the final bills. They always came up with something they forgot to bill for. I finally paid what I thought was my final bill and moved on. XXXX had all the pertinent information to contact me such as my current physical address and email address. I had elected electronic billing, so they required my current email address. On XXXX, almost 8 months later and never receiving any mail, emails, or phone calls from XXXX, I received a call from someone from Convergent. The person informed me that they were collecting {$68.00} for XXXX. I expressed my confusion and asked for more details. They did not have many details. I kept asking questions until I realized I was getting nowhere. I finally informed them ; I would require a validation of debt in detail from XXXX. Which was to include a copy of ALL the transaction detail for my account that resulted in a Balance Due of {$68.00}. If the transaction detail reflected some obscure fee or charge that was missed legitimately, I would be happy to pay the Balance Due in full. They agreed and told me that I would have to contact XXXX and ask for those documents. I refused and told them that was their responsibility as the bill collector to have all this documentation to do their job. I also told them to call me when they had these documents. I never heard from them or Convergent again. I have a complete recording of the entire phone conversation to validate everything I am stating. On XXXX, almost 4-5 months later after dealing with Convergent I seen that another collection agency, XXXX XXXX, had posted a negative statement regarding an uncollected debt, I contacted XXXX XXXX. They were even more elusive and transferred me to others and placed me on hold I believe to frustrate my attempt to get an explanation of what was going on. I finally was in contact with an employee who proceeded to go over all the same information I received from Convergent. I finally was able to ask them why they placed the negative item on my credit report. They informed me that by law after 45 days of inactivity they had the right to post on my credit bureau. Then they stated that they had called me, and I believe they stated that she spoke with me. They were speaking exceptionally low, and I had to ask them to speak up, and they replied I did. I replied, well if you spoke to me what phone number did you call me on? Then they hung up on me. I have a complete recording of the entire phone conversation to validate everything I am stating. I regret not having a lot of details available to me however after almost a year most of my copies are gone assuming there were no problems with the account. I do not know which company supposedly requested copies of the records involving this issue from XXXX. These documents were unfortunately never forwarded from XXXX to either collection firms as they were requested. Additionally, I was never informed of this situation either by mail or email by XXXX. My credit report is pristine because of the way I handle my financial obligations and not just handing over money to anybody that comes along saying you owe me. Summary : I opened a cellular account with XXXX approximately mid to late XX/XX/XXXX. During that process I provided them with my address, which is my current address as of this writing, my e-mail address, which is my current e-mail address as of this writing, and various other pieces of information which is current as of this writing. After a little more than 1 month I realized the service was so sub-standard I begin to look for another carrier. I then ported my number to XXXX XXXX. I waited for my final bill to arrive via email because I had signed up for electronic billing. The bill came, and I called XXXX to verify that it was my final bill. The reason for validating the bill is stated about. Approximately, 7-8 months later I received a call from Convergent for bill collection purpose. The contents of that entire conversation were recorded. Five months later while waiting for the documentation of the validation of debt to be sent from XXXX to Convergent, I received a call from XXXX XXXX who had placed a negative review on my credit report. I called them and attempted to some type of clarification of what was going on and why the posting on my credit report. I got nowhere with them in getting details. They said they had called me and talked to me. When I asked to give the phone number, they supposedly called they hung up on me. The contents of this entire conversation were recorded also. I opened a cellular account with XXXX a month or so later I cancelled it and paid the final bill, I was told. Nine months later a bill collector from Convergent called me and demanded {$68.00}. I replied, I that I would pay the bill if they provided me with the validation of debt and they told me to call XXXX and I replied that is your job and they said they had or will contact XXXX. Then another 4 months past and nobody contacted me when I noticed XXXX had taken the process over from Convergent and reported my non-payment to the XXXX credit bureau without even contacting me. Later, I discovered that Convergent had reported my non-payment to the XXXX credit bureau without even contacting me. I filed a complaint with the XXXX # XXXX against XXXX and XXXX XXXX, without noticing that Convergent had also filed a negative review of this transaction with XXXX. Since then, on XXXX XXXX has removed the negative report from XXXX XXXX. On XXXX I contacted Convergent and explained all that had transpired and requested they remove their negative post on me from XXXX. They searched their records and talked to a supervisor, and I was informed that they could not find any records for me. I responded well who is going to remove the post from XXXX. Their response was they could do nothing because they had no records of that transaction. I said it is on XXXX with your company name as the reviewer.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX, I ordered two XXXX XXXX phones and two lines of service. XXXX XXXX shipped the phones to the wrong address, so I cancelled the order and decided not to get service with XXXX XXXX. XXXX then charged me for a bill that I never owed and sent it to collections when I refused to pay something I don't owe. XXXX XXXX does not have a previous account number for me or any information about because I never had wireless service with them, but they charged me for it anyway. Now, I have a negative mark on my credit report saying that I had owed {$100.00} to XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX as of XX/XX/2022, and the account was closed as of XX/XX/2022. I have repeatedly called XXXX XXXX and the debt collector to fix this issue, and both are refusing. They tell me that I need to call the other company no matter who I call. This illegally charged debt has negatively effected my credit score and I need help getting this corrected as soon as possible, because neither XXXX XXXX nor the debt collector will do anything to fix this. Thank you for your time.
