Consumer Complaint: To whom it XXXX concern, My name is XXXX. Back in XXXX I called XXXX to settle down my account with them. They told me they sold my account to XXXX and I should give them a call. I called and spoke with a guy named XXXX and if I pay within 3 days he will do a pay to delete. He sent me a letter to my email about settling down my account for {$3000.00} and to send the checks overnight so they get in time. I sent them all over night with the following writing on all three of them Endorsement of this check constitutes payment in full. You agree to delete within 30 days from my credit report. They violated my rights by cashing the checks and not deleting the account and by promising they will update and they never did. I called them a week after they cashed them and they told me everything looks good and they will delete and update credit bureaus. They didnt!!! I called them a month later and they told me it takes 60 days to update. Now its been almost 6 months and I sent them letters and they ignore my request. Thats a breach of contract rights. They breached the agreement by still reporting to all credit bureaus that I owe them $ XXXX while we agreed on {$3.00}. How could I owe $ XXXX on an account we agreed to settle for {$3.00}?!?! Not only that but they are reporting incorrect info such as date of last activity, balance owed, last payment, etc! Each credit bureaus has different information and there are inaccuracies among all three bureaus. This means the account has not been properly verified!!

Consumer Complaint: After reviewing my credit profile on XX/XX/22 I identified a discrepancy with account listed under Convergent Outsourcing and validation was requested as this was an account I did not recognize. I review my credit report again XX/XX/22 and the account continues to reflect on my credit report and I have not received any correspondence from creditor to validate this account as a correctly belonging to me. Has my credit report been updated to reflect that the account is disputed and therefore 2nd Validation letter sent out this day. After reviewing credit report again in XX/XX/22 there have been no updates and account is still reflecting on my report. I dont believe this account belongs to me nor do I believe that the creator has authorization to access the account nor authorization to attempt to collect on the account and the account continues to negatively affect me. Please strike and remove this account from all 3 credit bureaus until adequate validation has been received providing that the account belongs to me and all information is correct.

Consumer Complaint: I have never received any bills for this Electric Service. I noticed this on my credit report last year and disputed it asking for proof of this debt being mine. I never received anything and the debt disappeared from my credit report. Last month i started receiving paper mail and very aggressive phone calls from a collection agency called Convergent Outsourcing, Inc about this debt. I have asked them multiple times to provide me with proof of this debt and they just hang up on me after I refuse to provide them with my social security number. I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX and provided them with the account number finally provided to me by XXXX. XXXX XXXX is telling me someone set up electric service at an address of XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX TX XXXX on XX/XX/2020. I have never lived in Texas in my entire life and have lived in North Carolina for over 30 years. XXXX XXXX is telling me I need to file this report with you due to someone having used my social security number to set this account up with them in order for me to have this debt taken off.

XXXX i called XXXX to remove bad credit report they said convergent outsourcing put in on their responsible to remove it. Consumer Complaint: Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX TX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, GA XXXX. Concerning : Account numbers : XXXX I asked you to authenticate my debt in accordance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, but all you sent me was an itemized list of the alleged sums. This violates FTC debt validation requirements. In XXXX XXXX XXXX, the Indiana XXXX XXXX XXXX ruled : 1692g ( b ) ( emphasis added ). XXXX ' attorney XXXX sent XXXX a letter on XX/XX/XXXX, 19 days after XXXX 's debt collection letter, saying XXXX " disputes your debt collection-related claims, rejects them, and requires strict proof and verification. '' XXXX. After receiving the letter, XXXX should have halted debt collection. XXXX violated 15 U.S.C. 1692g by securing a default judgment against XXXX before mailing her proof ( b ). XXXX argues no FDCPA violation happened because he " gave sufficient documentation of the debt [ to XXXX ] '' XXXX Response XXXX argues that an attached copy of XXXX ' consumer credit contract with XXXX XXXX is sufficient proof of the obligation under 15 U.S.C. 1692g ( b ). Nope. The contract lacks debt proof. The publication reveals XXXX ' loan, including the 17.99 % yearly interest rate and {$2500.00} total amount. The loan agreement contains no record of XXXX ' payments, the dates of those payments, the accrued interest, or any late penalties after she ceased making the mandatory installments. When XXXX sent the debt collection notification, the outstanding contract total was {$350.00} more than the original loan amount. XXXX violated 15 U.S.C. 1692g ( b ) by failing to get a default judgment against XXXX after XXXX contested the obligation but before XXXX mailed XXXX documentation of the debt. The trial court 's summary decision for XXXX is reversed. My credit report still shows this collection action. You've broken the FCPDA and face fines of {$1000.00} plus actual damages and attorney 's fees, which I can recover in small claims court. The potential damage from these collections on my credit report is thousands of dollars. Publishing incorrect information to major credit bureaus may constitute character defamation, as the negative marks on my credit report degrade my credit and prevent me from enjoying excellent credit 's benefits. The FCRA forbids erroneous information on my credit report. If you don't erase this account from my credit record promptly, you'll be fined {$1000.00}. Your legal team will certainly agree that failing to comply could put your company in legal trouble with the FTC and other organizations. I intend to proceed with the lawsuit if I do not hear from you within fifteen days. I really anticipate hearing from you. XXXX XXXX
