Consumer Complaint: Convergent Outsourcing is attempting to collect a debt on XXXX behalf which is actually no longer XXXX but XXXX. I don't have an outstanding balance of {$73.00} with XXXX which is officially went out of business XX/XX/XXXX of XXXX. XXXX who now owns the XXXX brand never reached out to me concerning an outstanding balance of {$73.00} because my balance was waived when I was transferred over from XXXX to XXXX back in XXXX of XXXX. Convergent Outsourcing has no right to try to collect anything from me after 2 years of being a loyal paying customer to XXXX. Their practices are unethical stating that I first became delinquent in XXXX of this year XXXX no of that is true. Convergent Outsourcing is in violation of my privacy and my character has been comprised with the reporting to my credit. This is a violation of my rights 15 US Code 1681 A4 There is a need to ensure that consumer reporting agencies exercise their grave responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and a respect for the consumers right to privacy. 15 US Code 1 A ) the consumer authorizes the agency to provide such report to such person. Convergent Outsourcing has no right to report on my credit report. 15 US code 1692d ( 2 ) The use of obscene or profane language or language the natural consequence of which is to abuse the hearer or reader. Convergent Outsourcing is in violation of contacting me which is harassment and abusive practices. Convergent Outsourcing advised that On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX placed this account in our office to collect a balance of {$73.00} on their behalf. Which is not true because XXXX is out of business and XXXX has never contacted me stating that I owe {$73.00}. XXXX also said that on XX/XX/XXXX they sent a validation notice, which is not true a complete lie. Convergent Outsourcing should not be allowed to continue their establishment as they did not comply with the FTC, FCC and CFPB rules. They are in violation and XXXX should also do something about this as their name is being compromised. When I disputed Convergent Outsourcing, Inc. with XXXX they advised that all collection of debt would stop but they are still reporting a debt of {$73.00} to the credit agencies. Convergent Outsourcing, Inc submits to deceptive, abusive practices to consumers who were vulnerable from XXXX. XXXX waived the {$73.00} in response to the Cares Act. XXXX made pledge to customers in response to the Federal Communications Commission which just further justifies that this fee was waived as I stated. The following was pledged by XXXX in the wake of XXXX Waiving late fees incurred because of economic circumstances related to the pandemic. I am not sure how Convergent Outsourcing received my information 2 years later after that {$73.00} sign up fee was waived. XXXX brought XXXX shortly after and I am still a customer to this day not owing anything. XXXX never once contacted me regarding a debt because this is a fraudulent attempt to collect a debt not owed. I am not being treated fairly and targeted even though I experienced major difficulties health and financially during XXXX XXXX and the fee was waived because XXXX complied with the Federal Communications Communication. XXXX joined the Keep Americans Connected pledge, offering uninterrupted wireless service and waived late fees. Please stop harassing me and damaging my credit and take me out of your collections and delete my file, XXXX should not have any access to any of my personal information including my address, telephone number, social security number, etc.

Consumer Complaint: I have been harrassed by Convergent Outsourcing for a debt that is not mine. The debt in question is for XXXX. I work for XXXX, and I do have nor have I ever had a debt with them. I have been working at XXXX for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ). Contacted the collections department within XXXX and they stated that I do not have a collections account with them, and if I did I would not have employment with them. The debt in question is {$590.00}, XXXX has free/discounted services for their employees. I do not owe anything to XXXX or Convergent Outsourcing, they are trying to have me pay for a debt that is not mine and harass me in the process.

Consumer Complaint: Per 15 USC 6805 and FCRA and as a federally protected consumer, I am opting out of any and all authorizations reporting of my personal data to anyone without my prior written consent. Any further sharing of my personal data will be in violation of my rights under the Privacy Act of 1974 and copyright protection. My right to have a fair and equitable consumer report has been and continues to be violated by CONVERGENT OUTSOURCING. In addition to the above complaint, per 15 U.S CODE 1681 ( b ) PERMISSIBLE PURPOSE OF CONSUMER CREDIT, I did not give permission to report on my consumer credit. XXXX & the listed creditors and alleged debt collectors is in violation of the law. Under 15 U.S code 1681- Permissible purposes of consumer reports. a ) general subject to subsection ( c ) any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other 2 ) in accordance with written instructions of the consumer to whom it may relates. I did not give any written instructions to furnish my transaction history on my consumer report and furthermore the FCRA 15 U.S. Code 1681a - definitions ; rules of construction SO EXCLUSION from a CONSUMER REPORT containing information solely as to transactions or experiences between the consumer and the person making the report. Credit reporting agencies such as XXXX, XXXX and XXXX are defined by the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX as financial institutions subject to its rule making authority pursuant XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX, XXXX and XXXX are not upholding its role pursuant 15 USC 1681. You ( CONVERGENT OUTSOURCING ) are not upholding your grave responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and respect for my right to privacy in the vital role you assumed in collecting, storing, assembling, and sharing an accurate and equitable consumer credit profile on my behalf. This is MY consumer credit profile and reporting inaccurate information is a discriminatory practice and is prohibited pursuant per the Equal Credit Opportunity Act. Your failure in responsibilities includes but not limited to, a violation pursuant 15 USC 1681a ( 2 ) ( a ) ( I ) - XXXX, XXXX and XXXX continues to furnish reports containing my transactions histories, debt utilization, payment history, inquires, and credit card balances are a few examples of transactions and experiences. A violation pursuant 15 USC 1681c ( a ) ( 5 ) - any adverse information shall be excluded from the consumer report. You are subject to civil liability pursuant 15 USC 1681n, 15 USC 1681o and a violation of 15 USC 1692c- you are acting in capacity of a debt collector when you communicate/ advertise my transaction history. My consumer report is a form of communication and advertising my transaction history is an attempt to coerce payment of the alleged debt. The provisions of 15 USC 6801 ( a ) this requires financial institutions to notify consumers of their information sharing practices and provide a right to opt out of certain sharing. I never received an opportunity to opt out of notice from CONVERGENT OUTSOURCING. As a violation of 15 USC 6802- you ( CONVERGENT OUTSOURCING ) communicated my nonpublic personal information to unaffiliated 3rd parties without my consent and without giving me the opportunity to direct such information not be disclosed. All of the information contained in my consumer report is nonpublic personal information unless I give you permission. You ( CONVERGENT OUTSOURCING are also in violation of 18 U.S.C 894 for using my consumer report with extortionate means as a way to coerce and swindle me into making payments on alleged debt not owed. I DID NOT AND DO NOT CONSENT to you ( CONVERGENT OUTSOURCING ) furnishing this information to my consumer report. I did not give you authorization or permission to have my personal identifying information, which you have obtained by aggravated identity theft in accordance with 18 U.S.C 1028A. Per 15 U.S CODE 1681 ( b ) PERMISSIBLE PURPOSE OF CONSUMER CREDIT regarding inquiries, if the accounts are not open on my credit report all inquiries will have to be removed ; please provide documentation that you used to verify that the inquires ( i.e. promotional or otherwise ) are open accounts with the creditor. Please be advised that I dispute the validity of the listed alleged debt in its entirety. I request a copy of a contract or agreement signed by the alleged original creditor and all parties to any such contract provided. Be advised that a billing statement, notice or any unsigned document is not verification of the alleged debt. You are on notice that you are unlawfully attempting to collect the listed alleged debt. If you opt to provide verification, also provide me with proof of the chain of title ownership of the debt. Also, if the alleged debt was acquired by a debt buyer, you would also need to provide proof of the chain title of the alleged debt, and this must be from the original creditor to the current alleged without a break in chain. This is a notice to CEASE and DESIST of all illegal activities, including reporting which constitutes collection activities. This is also a NOTICE exercising my rights to prevent the processing of my personal data. Failure to remove these debt collection accounts and update transactional history as PAID AS AGREED/ON-TIME on these accounts within 4 days from my consumer report as requested will result in legal matters being taken upon you. I would also like to request, in writing, that no telephone contact be made by your company to my home or my place of employment. If your offices attempt telephone communication with me, including but not limited to computer generated calls and calls or correspondence sent to or with any third parties, it will be considered harassment and I will have no choice but to file suit. All future communications with me MUST be done in writing and sent to the address noted in this letter by XXXX. It would be advisable that you assure your records are in order before I am forced to take legal action against your company and your client. This is an attempt to correct your records, any information obtained shall be used for that purpose. During this time collection activity must cease and desist. If any adverse action that is taken during this validation period that negatively impacts my Credit Report, including any potentially inaccurate information, I will instruct my legal consul to take relevant action against the guilty parties. You must immediately remove the collections you fraudulently placed on my credit reports until such a time as the debt is proven valid. Consumer Complaint: There was a delinquent XXXX debt purchased by Convergent Outsourcing. I reached out to Convergent Outsourcing via email to pay the debt, but there was no response. I subsequently reached out to XXXX to pay the debt. Prior to payment, I asked if XXXX would terminate their assignment of collection authority to the reporting debt collector ( Convergent Outsourcing ). They said they would, as soon as I paid in full. I paid the full amount on XXXX XXXX, 2022. XXXX week later, my credit report stated that I paid Convergent Outsourcing- the account was paid to XXXX, not Convergent Outsourcing ; therefore, the information reporting is inaccurate. Moreover, per XXXX, the debt was " recalled '' ( technically, terminated the assignment of collection authority. Today, I spoke with a representative of Convergent Outsourcing ; they refuse to honor any termination and will not remove the inaccurate reporting.

Consumer Complaint: I filed complaint number XXXX with you regarding XXXX account filed by XXXX on my XXXX credit report. You sent my complaint to the Credit Bureau asking for VALIDATION. CONVERGENT BOUGHT THE DEBT AND sent me a letter saying that they " verified '' the debt on XXXX XXXX XXXX I then called XXXX again. I initially called in XX/XX/XXXX and obtained Reference # XXXX ; I called again XX/XX/XXXX, reference # XXXX ; and XXXX XXXX XXXX reference # XXXX. Each time XXXX said I DO NOT OWE THE DEBT AS THE DEVICE WAS RETURNED DURING TRIAL PERIOD. I filed the complaint with you. CONVERGENT RESPONDED BUT did not VALIDATE THE DEBT. I sent them a letter which I will attach. I will also attach their response. I have been denied credit because of fraudulent reporting of this debt. They have violated my rights AGAIN. I WILL ALSO REPORT THEM TO FTC. XXXX should immediately remove this from my credit report, and Convergent should destroy this debt and not sell it to someone else. IT WAS ALREADY REPORTED TO YOU AND THIS WAS THEIR RESPONSE, JUST TO SEND AN OLD BILL WITHOUT VALIDATION. I HAVE THE RECORDED CONVERSATION OF ME AND XXXX FROM XX/XX/XXXX, BUT THERE IS NOT A WAY TO UPLOAD IT TO YOU. I WILL KEEP IT FOR COURT IF I HAVE TO.

Consumer Complaint: This is so annoying & frustrating. Ive sent XXXX multiple letters that Im the one whos disputing the items that are UNKNOWN to me. In XXXX responses that make the claim that have not initiated any disputes on my behalf due to the fraudulent or high risk nature, and the documents I provided have either been confirmed as fraudulent or deemed as high risk due to the potential for fraud. This is a complete joke. How in the world did they verify these claims? First of all, I know that under FCRA Section 619 Obtaining information under false pretenses that any person who knowingly and willfully obtains information on a consumer from a consumer reporting agency under false pretenses shall be fined under title 18 United States Code, imprisoned for not more than 2 years, or both. Most importantly, I never sent my documentation to anyone else as it deemed as high risk due to the potential for fraud. Also, according to FCRA 611 ( a ) ( 3 ) Determination That Dispute Is Frivolous or Irrelevant ( A ) a consumer reporting agency may terminate a reinvestigation of information disputed by a consumer under that paragraph if the agency reasonably determines that the dispute by the consumer is frivolous or irrelevant, including by reason of a failure by a consumer to provide sufficient information to investigate the disputed information. ( B ) Notice of determination. Upon making any determination in accordance with subparagraph ( A ) that a dispute is frivolous or irrelevant, a consumer reporting agency shall notify the consumer of such determination not later than 5 business days after making such determination, by mail or, if authorized by the consumer for that purpose, by any other means available to the agency. Again, under FCRA 617 Civil liability for negligent noncompliance [ 15 U.S.C. 1681o ] Any person who is negligent in failing to comply with any requirement imposed under this title with respect to any consumer is liable to that consumer in an amount equal to the sum of ( 1 ) any actual damages sustained by the consumer as a result of the failure; and ( 2 ) in the case of any successful action to enforce any liability under this section, the costs of the action together with reasonable attorneys fees as determined by the court. I need your help! As a consumer, I need to correct my credit file for my credit worthiness, credit standing, or credit capacity to obtain my rights and My Financial Freedom that has been DAMAGE.
