Consumer Complaint: My case : I have fell victim to a backdoor scam on the XXXX platform. I have been trading on a site similar to it and now I can not withdraw my funds. My funds are locked on the platform. I used my Coinbase account to transfer ETH to the platform which does work and syncs up with the exchange. I was able to transfer ETH from the back door platform site to my Coinbase and then my bank so it is real. However, now I am being told that I cant withdraw my funds until I pay my share. I have all hashes, screenshots, wire transfers with my bank to the Coinbase exchange, and wallet IDs on the platform. I also have contact details with a representative from the platform and the platform URL/domain. Please assist me in reversing this whole situation. Its a nightmare and I want justice or at the very least what I put in. Please contact me at my cell number XXXX to discuss further.

Consumer Complaint: I collect my salary under the XXXX platform, 3 months ago I made a transfer to Coinbase to buy Crypto, make transactions and then withdraw my money to another account. On XX/XX/2022 the company informs me that my account has remained restricted and does not let me operate, it does not give me any warning or excuse as to why they made this decision. When I contact Coinbase support, they don't give me an answer, they just tell me that they don't support the country I'm in ( XXXX ), but until last month, I could operate normally. So, they have withheld my money, saying that I can only convert it within the platform, but not take it out. Attached 3 images : 1- My account disabled 2- The test that in XXXX, I was able to transfer normally 3- Coinbase support saying that in my country only conversion is available

Issue: Problem with a purchase shown on your statement
Subissue: Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Consumer Complaint: I opened a dispute regarding four transactions on my Coinbase XXXX XXXX. It has been 10 days since the first two fraudulent transactions and 5 days since the second two. All the transactions are for the same amount and charged two at a time by the same vendor. Per the Federal Reserve Act Regulation E they should have 10 days to investigate the issue and if they can not resolve the issue by then they need to provide me with a provisional credit if they need to further investigate. Instead, every time I am contacted by customer service it has been to request the same information. They have not provided any provisional credit to my account nor do they appear to have made the slightest bit of progress with their investigation considering that they keep asking for the same transaction information despite it being in the email thread the contact me from. I have even provided screenshots of the transaction records. Merchant name : XXXX XXXX Date/time of transaction : XX/XX/2022 XXXX XXXX and XX/XX/2022 XXXX, XX/XX/2022 XXXX, XX/XX/2022 XXXX Transaction amount : {$20.00}, {$20.00}, {$20.00}, {$20.00} Dispute amount ( must include original transaction amount ) : {$20.00}, {$20.00}, {$20.00}, {$20.00} Was your physical card compromised? No Is the card still in your possession? Yes Was this a recurring payment? No Have you purchased from this merchant in the past? No Have you tried to contact the merchant to resolve? No contact info What merchandise or service ( please provide a detailed description ) was ordered and when was it expected to be received? Consumer Complaint: UPDATE TO XXXX PREVIOUS COMPLAINTS AGAINST COINBASE This is an update to XXXX previous complaints I filed against coinbase. See COMPLAINT ID XXXX THANKS for contacting them- all of a sudden they tried to fix the problem BUT just ended up STILL trying to make my access to my funds difficult by doing the following : 1 ) FIRST they said they could allow me to tranfer my coins to another database becaue I hadnt updated my address in their system This is crazy because I NEVER had problems tranfring before BUT I complied and updated my address. 2 ) They told me AFTER I updated my address-which I did- that my funds would be available on XX/XX/XXXX after XXXX pm XXXX. 3 ) FURTHER HINDRANCE Well when I went into their database to transfer my XXXX it kept telling me it FAILED for invalid wallet! Ironically- this is the SAME wallet I used to transfer XRP from coinbase OVER and OVER for the past several years and even on XX/XX/XXXX ( see screenshots attached ) XXXX ) On XX/XX/XXXX I sent Coinbase the following email : Dear Coinbase PLEASE : Verify the following as accurate : I attempted to send my last remaining XXXX from coinbase to a XXXX service I have sent to MANY times in the past! Its XXXX of the few ones that accept XXXX Your telephone customer service agent indicated that you will not allow me to send to the XXXX XXXX address below. This address is the same service I used to transfer XRP from coinbase over the years AND as recent as XX/XX/XXXX. Why all of a sudden I can not use this address? Her explanation made no sense. She said I nevr used this wallet address before- which is a lie- and EVEN SO- Are you saying that if I didnt use a specific address to send XXXX to in the past I can not use it now? Sounds like what she was saying but I want it in an email written explanation. COINBASE RETALIATION : In retaliation for filing complaints agains Coinbase with goverenment agencies, you first block me from my bank account. Then you tell me I need to update an address ( although I changed this address with you previously and sent ID after ID showing my XXXX address, with Coinbase successfully verifying these addresses ) before withdrawing my last {$100.00} of XXXX when I transfered over {$6000.00} worth of XXXX with no issues XXXX weeks ago to this same XXXX database. I complied with your request and updated my physical address in your databse. NOW you are making my attempts FAIL to transfer my wallet from coinbase to a service I have used over and over to transfer XXXX from coinbase over the last few years- the ONLY service I used to transfer XXXX from coinbase up to XXXX weeks ago! This is plain and simple -- retaliation. You guys refuse to stop the games and messing with my account so I'm gon na have to continue to keep the authorites informed of what is going on. Please send me a detailed email explanation as to why you are not allowing me to send my XXXX to wallet address XXXX. Thank you

Issue: Closing an account
Subissue: Can't close your account
Consumer Complaint: I received a Coinbase Debit card in the mail on XX/XX/2022 but I don't have a Coinbase account. The debit card was sent to my home address and is in my name. I am unable to speak/chat with anyone at Coinbase as I don't have the email address or password for the Coinbase account created in my name. They do not have a way to recover an account using the owner 's social security number. Coinbase website states it requires identity verification before issuing a debit card but there is no way for me to use that information to gain access to this account created in my name.
