Consumer Complaint: On XXXX and XXXX XXXX my Coinbase account was hacked and money through it was siphoned to purchase unauthorised crypto currencies for XXXX $ I opened ticket with coinbase to immediately freeze the transactions on XXXX XXXX only but they never responded back. I opened another ticket with them after my money was gone from the bank to buy BTC in Coinbase to which they responded my account has been fronzen and any crypto transactions can not be reverted. Since then I have not heard another response back from them despite for mailing them several times, neither I can access my online account. The email id associated with the Coinbase was XXXX I want my access back and the unauthorized transactions to be reverted if any else the equal amount.

Consumer Complaint: Coinbase Support is Incompetent I requested my account be placed on security hold because I had experienced ID theft. The institution correctly placed the security protocol on my account. In my attempts to then regain access after replacing my SIM card and changing all my passwords, etc. The institution was consistently unresponsive ( multiple emails requesting assistance, refused to accept valid goverment photo ID, and continued to tell me I needed to wait to be contacted by email. On XX/XX/2020 i spoke to a supervisor and I was told I would be contacted to unlock my account and that I would need to provide a Drivers License. That I had no choice but to wait to be contacted by Coinbase. Unfortunately, Coinbase without contacting me disobeyed numerous internal security protocol and unlocked my account. Resulting in my funds being accessible without my knowledge or consent. Dont use Coinbase

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX around XXXX EST I lost the cell signal on my phone. When I got a hold of other phone to call my provider XXXX they told me that someone changed sim card number. I realized my sim card was hijacked. Hackers then gained control of my cell # and text messages. They used that access to change my email password and then got control of my coinbase account credentials and change all the info required to log in such as email address and phone # - all of it. When calling coinbase support - my original phone # or email is not recognized no more and thus I couldn't reach anyone to talk with. I submitted several tickets on their website, but still havent heard anything back. I tried calling coinbase from other phone number-finally reached some representative who said I still need to communicate via email in this matter. I have a recorded conversation with an agent. After getting my phone number back I immediately changed passwords and froze my credit. Called local police and filed a report. Also reports had been filed with FTC and FBI But this morning XX/XX/2020 I saw several money transfer from my checking account to coinbase.com initiated on the XX/XX/XXXX. It's been 5 days and I still can't get any response from Coinbase.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2020 I tried by all means to withdraw from the coinbase.com wallet the value of {$110.00} in bitcoins, which have been impossible to withdraw, because a legend appears that my account is already restricted. On no previous occasion I had problems, but now the account is restricted so I can't withdraw my money. I have communicated with the official support, and they told me that there is no support for the area where I live, I just have to solve they problem all by myself. Then they sent me another email telling me that the case was closed, and I still can't withdraw my money from the wallet. To be clear, I have all my documents verified by the company, and I am enabled to deposit and withdraw cryptocurrencies in my wallet. I have all the verifications in 2 steps, code by mail, code by phone number and fingerprint, and still I can not withdraw my money. I will be thankful if you can help me with this problem.
