Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2019, coinbase alleges that they declined a purchase order, actually numerous orders somewhere in the ballpark of XXXX usd. I checked and my bank has no recollection or documents proving this to be true. Coinbase sent out an email stating i owe them this money which i didnt authorize in the first place. Now i just sold some cryptocurrency from elsewhere and deposited in coinbase and come to find out they locked my account so i cant withdraw or send anywhere, holding my XXXX in bitcoin hostage. When i called and emailed them, they said i must pay what i owr, i was shocked. Im not a rich man i worked for this money and expect them to honor that after all the fees and money they made off my customer loyalty. Please help me fix this my family and i would appreciate it.

Consumer Complaint: I have a Bitcoin account on Coinbase.com ( under email XXXX ) with approximately {$190.00} of Bitcoin currency in it. I used this as a fun bit of speculation. I want to have the money back in hand in my bank account. Coinbase operates a system called a " Vault '' allowing you to store the Bitcoins in it, and require authorization to remove it. It requires a text message authorization, and to confirm emails from my main email ( above ) and a secondary email ( XXXX ). I have access to all these things, and yet, the approval email to withdraw my money under the secondary email never arrives. As such, any request to withdraw my money is canceled. My {$190.00} is effectively held hostage by Coinbase. I have contacted them numerous times, and no one helps. It is merely a standard " Here is how a Vault on our website works '' email. Their phone service also gives no way of resolving the problem or talking to a person. It is frustrating and deceitful. Please advise. All the best, XXXX XXXX

I have a valid username and password to access the account but am not able to access it due to two step authentication that needs to be reset as I have a new phone ( same phone number ). After multiple attempts ( 4x different times of day ) on Sunday, XX/XX/XXXX calling Coinbase support XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX - the service states that all of its specialists are busy and hangs up. No holding, just hang up. Attempting the proposed alternative - submitting a ticket online, each ticket ( submitted 2 within the span of 1 hour ) created gets automatically closed with the following message : " This is an automated notification that your case has been closed. We have delayed logins to your account due to an unrecognized device used to generate your 2-step verification code. '' The automatic closure of my online ticket is directly tied to my 2-step verification issue - I am stuck in a cycle that has no means of resolution. I want access to my money.

I have tried to log back in so I can cash out my money, but it asked for a two-factor authentication, and the number that is associated with my account is the one from when I was stationed overseas in XXXX. I tried changing the number and doing an ID verification, but because my ID isn't from XXXX, it wouldn't let me verify it. I've tried calling and emailing multiple times and selecting multiple issues, but I've not had any luck resolving this issue.
