I have tried to get in contact with coinbase and they have just flatly ignored me. I have tried to contact them on so many occasions but they havent contacted me back. They say to contact their support and I did and I only received an automated reply and nothing else. They gave me a case number # XXXX since XX/XX/XXXX. When reading online, it has happened to so many people which is why I believe it has become a scam site. I just want my money back. Its been so tough with coronavirus, we dont need these people to make it worse for us

Consumer Complaint: Hello, I have not been able to access my Coinbase account holding my bitcoin/XXXX pounds held there. It will not me log in despite knowing full well my password & e.mail details are correct. Upon pressing OK a pop up tells me that my account has been locked and visit Coinbase.com to resolve I have done so, they create a case number when you submit whereby you have no choice to select their drop box reasons as to the problem which therefore isnt specific to find out by themselves as to why my account has actually been locked in the first place. Upon submission of managing to loosely tell them that my account wont let me in I received a confirmation with as mentioned above, a case no. from them and a brief answer that says that they are looking into it and say they will be getting in touch with myself within 72hrs. I have since sent a day later a query regarding support about changing my password as it does mention about changing a password too. When you try to do this, you dont get that option ... .You receive this below : - PASTED BY MUSELF : - Coinbase Account Recovery Complete the following steps to recover your account. INFORMATION ID VERIFICATION OVERVIEW We have received your account recovery request. After reviewing it, your account changes should be active within 48-72 hours. With absolutely no direct contact with this company that has MY money in, then I aswell as the majority of people, would be annoyed surely? They have my money which as it stands right now is theft! I have not been given any reassurance from this company other than the Pasted attachment above. The reviews I have read say that they have waited well over a month for issues exactly the same and similar ones and STILL have had no response despite contacting them over and over!

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2020, I deposited {$120.00} into my coinbase account. I did this via purchasing bitcoin on XXXX XXXX, and then sending it to my wallet on coinbase pro. After this, I sold my bitcoin on coinbase pro for USD. I then proceeded to complete the Coinbase Earn program, and was compensated with {$38.00} in various cryptocurrencies as a reward. After completion of the program, they give you the option to refer someone to do the same and receive up to {$10.00} in rewards per completed referral. I referred my mother, who I then helped set up a account on coinbase. Immediately after this, my account was locked, and I am no longer able to access any of my USD on the Coinbase Pro app. Within their Terms of Service, they explicitly state that unless ordered by federal or legal means, youre money will always be available to withdraw to a verified bank account. Not only do I have a verified bank account connected to the company, but I have provided all necessary identification verification documents. They are in direct violation of their own terms of service, and are illegally holding my money hostage.

Consumer Complaint: Starting XX/XX/XXXX I had a total of {$15000.00} pulled form account using Coinbase. The charges were never authenticated, and were sent multiple times in a day. The account used was a savings I do not pay much attention to and when I noticed the error I immediately disconnected the account and contacted Coinbase. They responded claiming that the transactions were from an IP address they have seen before using the Coinbase app, but I do not use a Coinbase app. I have sent numerous emails, I have filed a complaint and nothing has been done to return these funds to me. I need this money refunded as soon as possible.
