Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I noticed an unauthorized transaction on my Coinbase app in the amount of {$6800.00}. I notified Coinbase immediately by their phone system which only allows you to notify them if your account is suspected as compromised. I received an email from them on the same day, acknowledging the unauthorized transaction. The next day an ACH debit was initiated from the bank account that I have on file with them, but as the account never has that amount of funds in it. It did not go through. I notified my bank of the unauthorized transaction and the fraudulent use of my account and that the ACH should be stopped. They stopped the ACH and the funds were not taken from my account. On XX/XX/XXXX I received notice that fund withdrawal was suspended for my account. The next notification, on XX/XX/XXXX, was that they were recovering the funds from the transaction by selling the currency in the account. On XX/XX/XXXX, I was notified that 'recovery was complete ' and that 'account restrictions have now been lifted '. I have emailed on XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX, hoping for any reply but have received none. They do not have a customer service line to speak with a real person involving my account. I am afraid that I have lost my funds in the account since I am still not able to access my account.

Consumer Complaint: Coinbase claims to have a Send feature which allows consumers to send crypto funds as one would normally expect to another wallet, our own or someone else 's as a means of making payments. That button is missing from the Dashboard where they claim it should be. Coinbase support is not reachable by phone and worse attempting to navigate their phone tree ( or " tree '' there's one option - reporting an account breach ) - causes Coinbase to lock your account and keep your funds. I currently have {$1600.00} worth of crypto, {$1300.00} of which is XXXX, that they are not allowing me to send. Email support is worse than useless, they cut & paste claims that the button is there & I should refresh the browser. I have tried multiple browsers on XXXX & XXXX ; no such button exists. Coinbase is forcing consumers to sell assets through them with their fees in any hope of withdrawing funds. This has to be illegal, they are withholding an advertised send feature & gaming everything else to hold funds.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX I tried to change my cell phone number in my Coinbase account. Which holds my BITCOIN crypto currency and at the price I purchased it. Because I no longer have my old cell phone number. When I try to login to my Coinbase account with my user name and password. I am then taken to a 2 step verification process which sends a code to my old cell phone to complete the login process. Since I don't have my old cell phone number.
