Consumer Complaint: XXXX states I owe them for a bill I disputed this twice with the 3 cba and they stated verified. I was not aware of my rights at the time, now I check my credit report and XXXX is still on there and Jefferson Capital systems for the same {$750.00}. I have asked both companies for validation of debt with no response and yet they both appear on my credit report I can't believe this is legal.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX stated to me on XX/XX/XXXX that I had a debt to them for {$2500.00} that they was sent from another collection company being XXXXXXXX XXXX in which is XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX did not send me any kind of letter of no kind to the said debt by law. I also had a right to dispute the debt before XXXX XXXX XXXX placed it on my credit file. XXXX XXXX XXXX could not even tell me what the debt was they told me to call XXXX which is XXXX XXXX phone number in which I called and was told it was being sent back to XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have also place a copy from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Complaint Number XXXX dated back on XX/XX/XXXX as submitted and XXXX XXXX responded back on XX/XX/XXXX as the disputed account has been removed from my credit report and that all 3 credit bureaus should have been sent as well. XXXX has been nothing but a nightmare dealing with the issue at hand. Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX allowed someone to fraudulently open an acct in my name. The account was opened in a state I do not reside in and an address I've never resided. I filed a police report and have previously called XXXX 's cooperate office and spoke to them. I also went into a local office and discussed this. They admitted to not having any of my personal information on file but having numerous signatures of others on the account but not mine. XXXX deleted the negative account from my credit once they knew it was not me only to sell it to a collection agency. Now, XXXX XXXX XXXX., on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX has placed it back on my credit and requesting funds. I disputed it online with XXXX and I was notified that I had to request a dispute in writing from the other two credit bureaus. Once the debt was verified with XXXX via online dispute, I received a notice in the mail from XXXX XXXX , Inc. stating they are representing their client XXXX XXXX XXXX. This is the first I am hearing from either of them due to them not having any information for me which lets them know I am the wrong person. The letter states it is a collection notice and their client has agreed to accept 12 monthly payments of {$150.00} as a full and final resolution on this account. Why would I pay half of something that does not belong to me? I have sent a debt validation letter via certified mail to XXXX XXXX XXXX, but I have read online through the XXXX that people said their letters were returned to sender from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I want this handled in a timely manner as I only get 30 days to dispute and I sent it with 10 days left to dispute. On my credit report it says this was opened by XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. Original creditor name : XXXX XXXX XXXX. The balance is {$3400.00}. I would like this removed from my credit report as it is not my debt. There is no legal binding contract connecting me to this debt nor any of my signatures or ID. I have only had XXXX XXXX XXXX cellular service since XX/XX/XXXX. I would also like the address reported to the credit bureau in connection to this by XXXX XXXX XXXX be removed. I have never lived/resided there and there is no verification/validation that can link me there. This is all false information reported and is affecting my credit negatively.

The account was already previously removed from my credit report and they some how were able to place it back on without sending me any written notices or letters. I have never received an official document from them. When I did dispute the collection they then threatened me on the report saying Seriously past due date / assigned to attorney, collection agency, or credit grantor 's internal collection department. But I still have not actually received any official letters or documents from them.

Consumer Complaint: This debt was cancelled by XXXX XXXX last year. I reported it to you and the Bank removed it from my credit report. It is an extremely old debt and over the time to collect. Now they have turned it over to another collection agency to harass me. The debt collector calls and speaks derogatory to me and intimidating me to pay this bill that does not exist. XXXX should be aware of this tactic and get rid of this debt since this issue has been resolved.

This was for equipment that XXXX did not pick up after we had moved and they were notified of move. This is ridiculous that they could pick a discharged debt and re prosecute me for this.
