Reports state that the account was opened XX/XX/2017 and that I owe {$710.00}. I never opened an account with XXXX or XXXX XXXX XXXX. This account is not mine, this must be fraud. I have attempted to call but they can not find me in there systems.

Consumer Complaint: At the beginning of last year, I had my credit pulled for a pre-qualification for a loan. It came back that I had a collection account with XXXX XXXX that I was unaware of. I contacted the company that was handling the debt, asked for validation, and it was removed off of my credit report. It then was resold to XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2018 and reappeared on my credit for {$460.00}. It is the only negative collection account on my report, and as I previously stated I had no knowledge of the account at all. I have tried to reach out to the company about having the account removed, and every time I called I was spoken to extremely rudely and they demanded that I pay 70 % of the debt to have it settled. The problem with that is that it will still report negatively on my report, and the debt is not mine to begin with. I even offered a smaller amount in exchange for a Pay to Delete agreement just to get rid of it because I am XXXX XXXX military and I am trying to buy a house. They were nothing but rude every single time I spoke with them, and I refuse to deal with them any longer. I just want the debt gone and off of my report.

Consumer Complaint: I recently checked my credit report and found a debt from a debt collector called XXXX XXXX XXXX. First and foremost, I have never received any form of phone calls or letters at all from this company. I have never spoken to anyone from this company either. So when I saw XXXX XXXX XXXX has listed the open date for this debt on my report as XX/XX/XXXX, I was thoroughly alarmed. This debt was originally owned by XXXX XXXX as it states on my credit report. I have not had a XXXX XXXX account since years and years ago. And in all actuality, I have had a XXXX account since XX/XX/XXXX. I believe, XXXX XXXX XXXX has violated my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act by purposely re-aging my debt and making the statute of limitations longer without ever contacting me at all. I am not 100 % sure what year the XXXX XXXX account actually fell behind ( I'm thinking it was around XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX ). Which, if I am not mistaken, 5 years is the cut off mark for Florida statute of limitations. So if they did re-age my debt, XXXX XXXX XXXX can sue to collect a debt that may be time-barred. I have a image of my credit report showing the new incorrect date ; as well as, a copy of my original contract with XXXX reporting the date that I started my current account with them that I will be supplying.
