Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX at approximately XXXX MST, I attempted to contact the company XXXX XXXX about an old debt that I wanted to try and resolve. They transferred me to another one of their agencies who I tried to explain the issue to and offered a settlement of 20 % of the balance. They had already doubled the amount in fees over the last year. The agent then laughed and said they wouldnt do that. I asked to speak to a manager after realizing I was just losing my temper over the behavior of the agent. When the agent went to transfer me she called me a XXXX tool & when I asked her why, she got extremely rude and hung up on me. I called back, got another agent & immediately asked for a manager and the second agent also has rude comments. When I spoke to the manager, he didnt seem interested in resolving the issue. This collection agency should not be licensed. Just try to talk to them. I can call them and let you listen. I understand I may not have had the most pleasant response to the treatment I received but this collection agency does not want to resolve debt. They want to harass you.

The only information i can get from them is that they are not working this item and a phone number to another agency that they said was working this item, i called the other number they gave me and that agency also said that their company is not working the item either, yet XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Mn XXXX phone # XXXX is reported as a derogatory on my credit report please have them to provide me with the contract of this item.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX EST, I received a call from a company called XXXX ( sp ) claiming they called on behalf of XXXX XXXX in regards to a debt that they obtained from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I informed the gentlemen that I had not received any communication from either his company nor XXXX XXXX and that I was formally requesting information regarding this alleged debt from them. I had not received any communication from either company prior to that date and I requested validation of the account via the phone. The guy refused to provide me with information regarding this debt via the mail and kept saying, " we will email you '' and " this is already in collection '' and " we don't use mail ''. I have a legal right to request communication regarding alleged debts to be mailed to me via the United States Postal Services, and this company refused my right to this request. When I informed him that I was recording the call ( Georiga is a one-party consent state where I can give consent to record a call without prior notice ) he hung up on me. This is a direct violation of my right to request information in writing from a debt collector on an alleged debt. XXXX XXXX is now reporting this debt on my credit report, and the company they hired to collect this debt violated my rights. This account must be removed due to a violation of my consumer protection rights. I have an audio recording of this phone call, as does XXXX since they record all calls, so there is audio proof of this company 's refusal to honor my rights as a consumer.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX EST, I received a call from a company called XXXX ( sp ) claiming they called on behalf of XXXX XXXX in regards to a debt that they obtained from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I informed the gentlemen that I had not received any communication from either his company nor XXXX XXXX and that I was formally requesting information regarding this alleged debt from them. I had not received any communication from either company prior to that date and I requested validation of the account via the phone. Initially, the guy refused to provide me something via the mail, but when I informed him it was a violation of my rights to refuse this, he hung up on me. I called back and spoke with someone else who said the request had been processed for me to receive something in the mail. Again, this was the first time I heard from them and I initiated my rights to validation on XX/XX/XXXX. I received a notice on XX/XX/2018 dated XX/XX/2018 stating " we received your dispute and have been unable to resolve your request because we need additional information ... ''. I never received a dunning letter from this company regarding this debt. This is in violation of the FDCPA 809 ( a ) 1-5 because : 1 ) This is the first written communication I have received from XXXX XXXX and it is dated 6 days from when I spoke to someone attempting to collect the debt. The law states they must send me notification within 5 days of the initial communication. 2 ) Initial communication is required to include : " ( 3 ) a statement that unless the consumer, within thirty days after receipt of the notice, disputes the validity of the debt, or any portion thereof, the debt will be assumed to be valid by the debt collector ; ( 4 ) a statement that if the consumer notifies the debt collector in writing within the thirty-day period that the debt, or any portion thereof, is disputed, the debt collector will obtain verification of the debt or a copy of a judgment against the consumer and a copy of such verification or judgment will be mailed to the consumer by the debt collector ; and ( 5 ) a statement that, upon the consumer 's written request within the thirty-day period, the debt collector will provide the consumer with the name and address of the original creditor, if different from the current creditor. '' NONE of the above was included with my initial communication letter. They are also in violation of the FDCPA 809 ( b ) because : 1 ) I requested validation of the debt ( they acknowledged based on the verbiage of the attached letter - referenced above ), but they did not supply any supporting documentation for the validation, yet requested additional information from me to validate their collection practices. They are required to validate the debt, not me as the consumer. They were unable to validate this debt. 2 ) On XX/XX/2018 this account showed up on my credit report as a collection. This is within the 30-day time frame from their initial contact, where they DID NOT PROVIDE A DUNNING LETTER, and my request for validation, WHICH THEY DID NOT HONOR. They did not provide validation AND they took adverse action against my report during that validation period. This is a direct violation of ( b ), " ... the debt collector shall cease collection of the debt, or any disputed portion thereof, until the debt collector obtains verification of the debt or a copy of a judgment, or the name and address of the original creditor, and a copy of such verification or judgment, or name and address of the original creditor, is mailed to the consumer by the debt collector. '' They did not cease collection of the debt while in the validation period. XXXX XXXX is violating my rights under the FDCPA in many ways, so I am formally requesting this tradeline be removed from my credit report due to their blatant disrespect for the law and my rights.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX has reported a fraudulent collection account on my credit report without prior notice. XXXX XXXX XXXX account # XXXX claiming {$7800.00} was a result of Identity Theft and does not belong to me. I did not receive any communication from XXXX XXXX regarding this matter and no prior notice was made to me. I have provided copies of the police report and ID theft affidavit to the original creditor as well as the major credit bureaus and this item has been blocked as per 605 B. Block of information resulting from identity theft [ 15 U.S.C. 1681c-2 ]. XXXX XXXX is in violation of of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act Section 807-8 & ( FDCPA ) ( 15 USC 1692 et seq.

Consumer Complaint: Every morning just after XXXX XXXX. I get a call from XXXX. Answered the call today and someone asked for a person I have never heard of. Because of their corrupt practices it may be someone in my neighborhood that they are trying to shame into paying a debt. A check of that number comes back to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX with an address of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I am on the do not call list and would like to see these people pay for what they are doing. XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX. When I got to the end of this form it makes no sense, I am only harassed because they call my phone number. I owe no debt and so the questions on you form make not sense.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/18 & XX/XX/18 both dates I received phone calls ( XX/XX/XXXX ) on my cell phone and ( XX/XX/XXXX ) on my home phone from XXXX XXXX XXXX asking for a person with the same name. Without verifying I am that person the party released they were collecting a debt and the company they were calling on behalf of, XXXX XXXX. Each time I confront about breaking the law about releasing that information their representatives hang up on me. My wife called back XX/XX/XXXX and spoke to a team leader named " XXXX XXXX '' confronting about releasing personal info related to said debt without verifying and the harassing calls by repeatedly hanging up and he as well released the info without verifying address or social security number. The request was submitted to cease communication from both numbers and they were notified a complaint would be made on the now three documented occasions of the release of private info.
