Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX at approximately XXXX XXXX, a process server arrived at my home. I was not at home, but the process server advised my spouse that we had a court date of XX/XX/XXXX, and that the case was in regards to XXXX. Myy wife informedme of the incident, and after some research, I was able to locate the debt collection agency, XXXX XXXX XXXX , XXXX based out of XXXX XXXX, MN ( hereafter referred to as XXXX ). I then contacted XXXX, and inquired as to when the debt validation letter had been sent. I was placed on hold for two minutes, and after being taken off hold, I was informed that the lawsuit was in the process of being dismissed, and that they were preparing a debt validation letter, and were willing to make a payment arrangement. My complain is that the agency in question initiated a lawsuit without properly notifying me of said debt.

Consumer Complaint: I have a collection on my credit report from a collection agency called XXXX XXXX XXXX. I disputed the account with the credit bureaus and I was informed by XXXX to also file a complaint. XXXX stated to me, to file the complaint when I told them I have 2 collection agencies on my report who claim they are collecting for them. I was advised to file a complaint and dispute with the credit bureaus because they did not send or assign anything in my name to a collection agency. I actually have two collections on my credit reports who claim they are collecting for XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX. I am filing complaints on both companies bc they are illegally attempting to collect on debts they clearly do not own. How is it possible for 2 collection agencies to be trying to collect on the same debt?? XXXX XXXX did not assign the debts. They have yet to properly validate the debt according to the FDCRA. Please remove this bogus collection from my reports and I will not hesitate to take legal action.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, MN has violated the FCRA by filing a collection notice on my credit report without notice. The debt is for a XXXX account. I have never had a XXXX account. XXXX claims to have done an investigation but they would have had evidence of the XXXX credit check if I had ever had an account. So they didn't actually investigate at all outside of asking the collection company if I owed the money. How am I supposed to prove to them I've never had a XXXX account. I don't have documentation of something I've never had

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX appeared on my credit report attempting to collect {$140.00} dollars from me. The account states it was from " XXXX XXXX ''. I had received no paperwork or notifications of this debt. And was never given an opportunity to dispute it. I filed a dispute with all 3 major credit bureaus, 1 of which has cleared it from my credit report. I wanted to file a complaint to get this false collection removed.
