Consumer Complaint: I received a collection notice from your office on XX/XX/2019 that was dated for XX/XX/2019. In this notice you mentioned that you were representing XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and that they were the owner of an account that is allegedly owed by me. I would like to dispute the validity of this accused debt as I have NEVER owned an account with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX so how can they own an account that you are stating is owed by me. Are they a debt buyer? Was there a bill of sale or receipt of the sales transaction? I want to know the exact amount that the debt was purchased for if thats the case. If you are representing them are you advising that you are an attorney? If not, how can you be representing them. Was there a power of attorney given to you by the alleged creditor that warrants permission for you to collect money from me? If you are a debt collector this is very misleading and a violation of the FDCPA Section 1962E for misleading representation. If you were assigned this debt you will need to produce a letter of assignment from the owner of this account or a bill of sale showing the purchasing transaction confirming that YOU are entitled to the compensation of this alleged amount owed. Furthermore, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX has also violated FDCPA Section 1692C ( B ) for disclosure to a third party in connection with the collection of an alleged debt. Outside of myself, the original creditor and the credit reporting agency they were not authorized to disclose any information to a third party, including YOURSELF unless you are the debt collectors attorney. Please notify your client of their negligence and deceptive acts. I would like this debt to seize effectively immediately and further collection activity to be blocked. Please send me a letter confirming your compliance to avoid further escalation of this matter to State and Federal governing entities for investigation of XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I will await your response within 30 days.

Consumer Complaint: I want XXXX account and collection removed from my credit reports. Ordered products from XXXX all the way back in XX/XX/XXXX, never received my order as it was sent to an incorrect address I no longer lived at in a different state. I dont know how they got that address as that's not what I put. When I saw it was being shipped to incorrect address I contacted right away to inform to change address as it hadnt actually shipped yet. They refused to change to correct address. After they shipped, I contacted fedex and they said the shipper could change the address with them for delivery. They would not. Was delivered to my old address in different state. I even contacted apt office at that address and they said my package was delivered there but they gave it back to fedex to return to sender since I didn't live there anymore. XXXX should have received package back but still kept my bill for order as is. They would not reship to me. Obviously I was not going to keep paying for an order and goods I never received. No one would help me with this and ended up getting bill sent to collections with collection account and closed/charged off XXXX account show on my credit report which is not fair again for goods I never even got. Collection company would not remove when I disputed. I have screenshots from XX/XX/XXXX of all the emails I sent to fingerhut informing about the address and trying to get them to do something.

Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt was result of identity theft
Consumer Complaint: I disputed an unrecognized debit card that opened under my name back in XX/XX/XXXX, and no progress has been made from the XXXX or XXXX. I never visited or purchased at XXXX in person or online since XXXX ( which is verifiable from my transaction history at XXXX the only bank I use ) and I certainly did not open a checking account without linking it to my bank. Very interestingly, this debit card opened around the same time I was told I need to check if I was part of the data breach victims in XXXX. After confirming that I was I immediately reported this fraudulent collection for the sake of correcting my credit score from XXXX 's dispute center. Almost 9 months have passed, I still see no investigation progress from XXXX or XXXX and this collection record is affecting my ability to apply for a car loan that I need for day to day commute. I need to correct this collection record from a real identity theft incident that happened almost 2 years ago.

Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Consumer Complaint: I was contacted by a collection company in XX/XX/XXXX regarding an amount of {$550.00} owed to XXXX XXXX. I stated that I had not had an account with XXXX since XX/XX/XXXX and my balance was completed paid. I asked for verification and further details about this amount owed and was referred to XXXX XXXX XXXX. I sent a letter correspondence in XX/XX/XXXX asking for proof and verification regarding this debt and stated if in fact owed I was willing to make payment with removal of derogatory collection remarks. No verification or response was received. I then went ahead and disputed it with all 3 bureaus in XX/XX/XXXX. This dispute was denied and in XX/XX/XXXX I requested verification again which went unanswered leading me to believe this collection was in error. I sent notice to all 3 bureaus again via certified mail. This dispute was again denied and a letter from XXXX XXXX was sent to my home stating they would not share or verify this account with the bureaus. At this point this collection remains on my account hindering me from qualifying for a federal mortgage first time home buyers program which I am praying to secure. I have no other blemishes on my report other than this and through my efforts have received no response or solution in my attempts to resolve this. This company has been using different collection agencies to contact me and even has different names on my report under the same collection. On XXXX they are under XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and on XXXX they are showing as XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX
