Consumer Complaint: Allegedly i owe {$920.00} to a credit card in which i never had a credit card with that line of credit. I never received correspondence from this agency that they have an closed account under my name. I found out through XXXX XXXX. The company 's name is Jefferson Capital. I sooke to a representative on XXXX XXXX.They are not abiding under the fair debt collection act, by not sending correspondence. As you jnow this further more hurts my credit, not corresponding. For I am also concerned because they are locate at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, MN. I reside in New York. I asked for debt validation to see if their proof of license can be conducted in New York. When i asked them for debt validation they did not want to proceded but explain the charges on my account.Please intervene, contact this company. Tell them to delete this from my credit report and seize all collection efforts.

Since then for the past 10 years I have been getting letters claiming I owe {$720.00}, despite multiple attempts in writing, XXXX XXXX keeps harassing me. They have even fraudulently adjusted dates it seems in order to keep harassing me. Not only did I know owe what was claimed ... it's been TEN YEARS since I had a XXXX account.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 XXXX XXXX agreed to a settlement for a debt in the amount of {$6700.00}. They agree to debit my account XXXX on record from the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. According the document supplied from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX they never attempted to withdraw funds on any of the dates according the agreement they prepared and agreed too. I recently found out the account was sold to Jefferson Capital Systems , LLC for {$19000.00} and it's being collected on their behalf from XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX Now both XXXX XXXX and Jefferson Capital Systems , LLC are reporting me to all three credit bureaus in the amount of {$19000.00}. As a consumer both companies are trying to take advantage of me on behalf of the lender XXXX XXXX XXXX. I want this remove from all three credit reporting agencies and to consider this debt satisfied because I kept my agreement but the collection debt holders broke the agreement.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX reached out to me in the fall of XXXX indicating that I owed this debt of XXXX. The address they gave me for the notices and billing was not my address and I indicated this. They stated that I needed to prove my identity to prove to them this was not mine. I indicated that that was not correct and they need to prove to ME it was mine. I spoke to XXXX again in XXXX as I was preparing to buy a house and they indicated that they had no record of the debt. I am enclosing a letter that the have sent to the collection agency again indicating that this is not my debt and requesting that it be removed. Thank you

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2020 I checked my XXXX credit report and noticed a collection from Jefferson Capitol Systems was placed on my credit profile for a XXXX debt of {$400.00}. I proceeded to call the company but no answer due to the weekend. I did use the automated system that then told me the alleged debt was transferred to another company XXXX XXXX XXXX. If the supposed debt was with XXXX XXXX, then why does their automated system tell me it was transferred. How can XXXX XXXX report on my credit profile something they dont own? I also did not receive any notification of the alleged debt from either company giving me 30 days to dispute the information and request verification of alleged debt owed.

On top of it, this is a collection account and the collector needs to prove that this debt can survive collection, that they own this debt and the extent to which they can collect this debt and that all their details match the original creditor. Without it, must be removed.
