I never received the item there was no signature so there was no proof that maybe there was something wrong with the courier. Consumer Complaint: The matter involves funds availability and the fact that Capitol One froze my funds though the external transfer was completed. This prevented me from establishing the promotional CD within the time frame necessary. I should have been able to accomplish had they not froze my deposit and it seems that the CD portal for establishing the CD did not recognize the funds being on deposit. In addition I want to file a complaint that the website and online banking platform of Capitol One does not provide the ability to file a complaint unlike every other bank I have worked with. They make it impossible. Please go to their online banking platform as well as their website- there is not portal to log a complaint. Moreover they do appear to have a support e-mail address but it is not monitored. See attached. I have submitted a notice of complaint to Capitol One using the information on their banking platform - contact us. But was subsequently told that was inaccurate by a supervisor and it needed to be addressed to the office of the XXXX. This direction is not provided on their banking platform or website.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of XXXX I submitted a request for a balance transfer from my CapitalOne Quick Silver credit card to my XXXX XXXX credit card. Upon submitting the request for balance transfer, I noticed that there was an error in the account number I entered and I immediately ( within seconds ) submitted a note to CapitalOne letting them know if this error and requesting an update to the balance transfer request. Capital One acknowledged the change and said the balance transfer would be updated. The balance transfer was never completed to my XXXX XXXX. I was charged {$3000.00} the full amount of the balance transfer request, but my XXXX XXXX never received that credit/payment from Capital One. After YEARS of writing and calling to find what happened to my balance transfer. I discovered that Capital One erroneously sent a check in the amount of {$3000.00}. I have no knowledge of who they wrote the check out to or why. When I asked where they got this persons name or why they sent them a check when I requested a balance transfer to an XXXX XXXX account in my name, they had no response. I asked them what they were going to do to correct this error on their part and they informed me that I would have to contact the person they issued the check to or the banking institution that cashed the check and submit a request to them. This is completely unacceptable. They have done nothing to remedy the funds they lost/mishandled. They have been unhelpful and have drained hours and hours of my time as I fought to find out what happened to my money.

Like how I said this is the third time they have some this with no warning and holding funds for months collectively. I need this problem solved and my money released within the 1-3 day credit update time frame posted available credit within the 1-3 day time frame from fund extraction date posted and clear answers in written form per policy that is accessable and observable on the consumers side to better help me understand and avoid this financial issue.

Consumer Complaint: I have a Capital One Venture card set up with the Auto Pay feature to pay the statement balance in full every month. In XX/XX/2023, the payment was not drafted from my checking account on the due date, XX/XX/XXXX, so I called Capital One the following day on XX/XX/XXXX to inquire why it had not been drafted and was told that they could not tell because I was set up in Auto Pay to have the full statement balance drafted from my account. I paid the full balance over the phone on XX/XX/XXXX and the representative acknowledged that there was no reason he could see why it had not been drafted as it should have been. He agreed to refund the {$25.00} late fee that had been charged to my account. At the time, I did not realize that on XX/XX/XXXX I was charged {$21.00} in interest for the prior month 's daily accrued balance. On XX/XX/XXXX, the balance was drafted in full, as it had been in every month prior to XXXX. I was again charged {$10.00} on XX/XX/XXXX even though the balance was again paid in full. This morning I called to inquire about the XXXX interest charge and the representative again said he did not understand why I would have been charged interest as the account had been set up for many months to be auto drafted and paid in full every month but that he did not have the ability to waive the interest so I asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor then told me that he saw where the account had been cancelled to have the payment drafted but could not tell who did it. There is however, NO RECORD of the auto payment being " reactivated '' - it was never cancelled in the first place, at least be me. If there is a record of my auto payment feature being cancelled, it would stand to reason that there would also be a record of the Auto Payment being reactivated after the XXXX statement but I have verified that there is no such transaction record on my account. I am at a loss why I am being charged interest for two months worth of charges for what is effectively a one day late payment due to a system error at Capital One. At no point prior to speaking to this supervisor has anyone previously ever indicated that the Auto Payment was cancelled and I certainly did not cancel it. I paid the entire balance over the phone on XX/XX/XXXX and I pay the balance every month in full. I have been charged for accrued interest for two months through no fault of my own. Capital One, while acknowledging that no of this makes any sense, is unwilling to refund me for the interest they have charged to my account. Please look into this and help. Thank you

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to dispute the incorrect reporting of my credit balance by Capital One Bank. Within just 5 days, my credit was reported to have a balance of {$60.00} and {$310.00}, when in fact my actual reported balance was {$0.00}. I have no idea why my credit was reported in this way, as I have not made any recent purchases or payments. This error is causing me great frustration and concern, as it could negatively impact my credit score and financial standing.
