Consumer Complaint: I opened this XXXX account XX/XX/XXXX. They are missing my XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX statements. I have not missed a payment on this card and the majority of the time it is ; aid in full. I have requested multiple credit line increases and have been denied every time. My credit line is {$300.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX i received a letter stating that i would not receive an increase because a payment on this capital one account was recently returned i assume they are referring to my XXXX XXXX account that was shut down due to id theft. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXX/XX/XXXX, i received a letter stating that i will not receive an increase because There are too many missed minimum payments in recent history Presence of a revolving account charged off by a lender Presence of an account that is seriously delinquent or derogatory There have been too many recent inquiries This is not true and how could this have possibly happened within one months time? They claim they are getting the report from XXXX yet my XXXX report does not show any of this. Why are the reasons getting worse as my credit is getting better? They tell me there is nothing they can do because a computer decides.

Consumer Complaint: Capital one has continued to list the account with the credit reporting agencies when it had been deleted multiple times and reinserted which is a direct violation of 15 USC 1681i B requirements relating to reinsertion of previously deleted material unless confirmed by the consumer which is invalid. Please delete duplicative reporting that is causing harm to my financial reputation. These reinsertion is violating code of federal regulations FDIC regulations and compliance.

Consumer Complaint: On Friday, XX/XX/2023 I received email notices from the various credit reporting agencies that there had been a drop in my credit score followed by a new credit card appearing in my credit file. The credit reports documented the inquiry was from Capital One and the credit card was a Capital One Venture Card. At no time have I applied for a Capital One Credit Card. Contemporaneously, I received an email from Capital One congratulating me for being accepted for a Venture Card. ( A true and accurate copy of said email is attached hereto. ) I immediately called Capital One ( XXXX XXXX, 2023 @ XXXX ) and spoke to XXXX XXXX XXXX # XXXX ) to report the fraudulent activity. XXXX stated that she found the account and was reporting it to the fraud department and instructed me to file a police report.I then filed a police report with the XXXX Sheriff Dept., in XXXX, Florida. ( Police Report # XXXX, Filed XXXX XXXX @ XXXX ) Additionally, on XX/XX/2023, I filed an Identity Theft Report with the Federal Trade Commision ( Report # XXXX ). Following filing both a police report and the and FTC Identity Theft Report, I called Capital One Fraud Dept and spoke to XXXX ( ID # XXXX ) and relayed the report numbers. On Tuesday, XX/XX/2023, I called and spoke to XXXX at Capital One Fraud Department to inquire when the fraudulent information would be removed from my account who stated it would be removed within 48 hours. As of XX/XX/2023 the fraudulent inquiry has not been removed.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I purchased a XXXX XXXX lawn Mower from Walmart.com with my Capital One card. The lawn mower has a one year warranty through the manufacturer. On XX/XX/XXXX the main shaft of the lawn mower broke off and rendered useless. I at first called WalMart, who referred me to the manufacturer. I called the manufacturer and was told to call local authorized retailers. When I called the dealers, I either received no answer when calling or was told they are not authorized dealers. I called the manufacturer directly XXXX and was told they are not the manufacturer, even though they have the same address. ( I am including documentation to validate all this ). I have been going in circles between WalMart and the Manufacturer. I filed a dispute with my Credit card company Capital One on XX/XX/XXXX because Walmart and the Manufacturer were giving me the run around on a replacement, repair refund. On XX/XX/XXXX I submitted all the documentation of my attempts to reach someone who can resolve the issue of the broken lawn mower. On XX/XX/XXXX, Capital One told me the reason why they we closing the case was because I didn't have a 2nd opinion from on what to do about the issue. I sent them detailed documentation on my attempts to reach XXXX XXXX, XXXX, and Walmart. On XX/XX/XXXX I called Capital and spoke with a representative about sending in the documentation. He gave me the reason as not getting a 2nd opinion on the issue. I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was transferred to someone named XXXX. Our call lasted over an hour. During the call, with me and XXXX ( Supervisor for Capital One on the call ) called XXXX XXXX, who opened a ticket but told us there is nothing they can do as far as refunds, repairs, or exchanges and that we need to reach out to Walmart. XXXX ( supervisor for Capital One ) called Walmart and we talked with a representative about the issue and he transferred us to someone who never picked up the line and some how we ended up back in que with XXXX trying to select options trying to get a hold of someone. XXXX, witnessed, first hand, my attempt at getting some kind of resolution for the broken lawn mower. When she couldn't get a hold of anyone at Wal-mart she told me it is my responsibility to contact Walmart to resolve the issue. When this issue started I have contacted Walmart multiple times with them telling me I need to contact the Manufacturer and on the call today with XXXX, the manufacturer told us to call the retailer ( Walmart ). I am including all the documentation that I have compiled over the past month trying to get this resolved, all documentation was provided to Capital One for the dispute process.

Consumer Complaint: Hi I opened a Capital one 360 Savings account on XXXX XX/XX/2022. I invested {$100000.00} so I would qualify under the XXXX promotion, which I received notice of through my credit card account. The promotion clearly stated that you had to invest the money within 15 days of opening. I opened an account and the account was funded the following day. It stated you had to leave it for 90 days and then up to 60 days after the 90 days, you would receive the bonus. There was no mention of having to wait 15 days before the 90 days to start. If this was the case- unless you are deliberately trying to mislead and scam people why wasnt this clearly stated in the same line as you have to leave the money deposited for 90 days. Additionally I did review the alleged fine print, there was no mention of this. I have attached a copy of the XXXX promotion I received. On XX/XX/XXXX after approx. 94 days I transferred the money into a Capital one CD ( and even added to it ), so obviously I didnt need the money. If I had known I had to wait approx. 8 more days to receive, dont you think I would have? On XX/XX/XXXX I called Capital One, as more than the required time had passed and I had not received the {$1000.00}. I was informed I didnt qualify as I hadnt waited long enough. Eventually, after being told this repeatedly by a Customer Service Rep who didnt seem to understand what I was saying, I was put through to a specialist who was sympathetic to my request and appeared optimistic, but said she did not have the authority to authorize the {$1000.00} and that she would escalate it and I would get a response within 2 weeks Case Ref : Ref : XXXX On XX/XX/XXXX I received an email stating that the time required was actually 15+90+60 days and my request was denied. This was definitely not clear at all. I notice Capital One has changed/clarified the requirements in place for their latest promotions, but this was not the case in the XXXX promotion. I dont feel I should be penalized for Capital One trying to mislead/scam me. Of course I cant even withdraw my money in protest at the way I have been treated, as this would mean giving Capital one several thousand dollars in early withdrawal penalties. There is little point in even giving them a bad review, as apparently I have already been beaten to it. Capital One had 1.5 XXXX rating and a 1.0 XXXX XXXX rating, so I guess they dont care. I am retired so this a way of generating income. This transaction was made in good faith and I believe they deliberately and knowingly gave misleading and incorrect information, especially as I did not withdraw this money, I in fact, added to it and transferred it to a CD account with Capitol One. Why would I have moved this money into a CD on XX/XX/XXXX, if I had known I had to wait until XX/XX/XXXX ( the qualifying date according to Capital One ) to receive the {$1000.00} bonus.
