Consumer Complaint: You are in direct violation of the fair credit reporting act many accounts have violated several of My rights. 15 u.s.c1681 sec 602 a.clearly states I have rights to privacy. 15 u.s.c 1681section 604 a section2 it also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instructions 15 u.s.c 16668 : a creditor may not treata payment on credit plan as lat for any purpose. Remove these late payments and update these accounts immediately as u are in direct violation of several laws under the fair credit reporting act.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I received a strange call about winning the lottery and a free credit card. The person on the other line told me that they will give me a free cruise ship.I denied the request and ask the person how did you receive my information. The person stated to me that they notice on my consumer report I had no credit and I will be a perfect fit for the cruise ship rewards. I hung up the phone and called my local police and notified them of the weird call and scam. The dispatcher of the local police notified me to call all the consumers reporting agencies and notified them of the scam. I also checked XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX consumer reports and noticed many false inquiries that I never did. I even notice addresses and a fraudulent account as well. I even contacted the fraudulent dept of these reporting agencies still no one contacted me back 120 days later.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased a room at the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX to be present at a comedy/music festival and made payment for XX/XX/XXXX thru XXXX. Payment plan began XX/XX/XXXX. The merchant never had a valid contract with the hotel to sell the rooms. The merchant sent our notification saying they were canceling due to the dispute with the hotel and the contract. The merchant sold me a service/product I never received. I called to dispute the charge several times with capital one. The merchant provides a fraudulent cancellation policy etc to avoid responsibility. The merchant is now in bankruptcy court ; however, I disputed the charge with Capital One before the filing. Capital one will never call me back. They would not provide contact information to the office if the president. On XXXX was charged {$350.00} On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX & XX/XX/XXXX I was charged {$290.00} plus interest. I was refunded for XX/XX/XXXX {$350.00}, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX & XX/XX/XXXX. Based on conversation charges from XX/XX/XXXX & XX/XX/XXXX were processed by a back office and the merchant agreed to refund me the fee XX/XX/XXXX. I have called and faxed documents over XXXX time in the past few months while trying to deal with the passing of mother. Capital One said the borrower responded so I can not dispute with them longer ; however, the merchant has committed fraud.

Consumer Complaint: I noticed my consumer credit file was incorrect and incomplete, related to the Capital One account. Capital One is in violation of the FCRA in regards to the information furnished to the consumer reporting agencies, whom are non affiliated third party companies. Capital One has incorrectly reported my credit card account as a flexible spending account, which it is not. Capital One also reported my account as being late in XX/XX/2022, there was never an investigation done by the CRA 's prior to reporting this incorrect information because pursuant to 15 USC 1666b- no creditor shall treat an account as late. I have tried to rectify this issue with Capital One and the CRAs as this is causing me major financial damage and has caused me to not be approved for an apartment. In disclosing this information my right to privacy was violated. Capital One 's terms and conditions clearly state that they will not sell my information to a third party, and they did just that in selling my personal financial information to the credit reporting agencies. In addition, I have looked over everything that was given to me upon opening this credit account, and the Gramm Leach Bliley Act Disclosure was never given to me, violation of federal law.
