Consumer Complaint: Capital One is refusing to support my disputes on my Venture One card from unjust charges from two different companies. It appears they have some sort of block on my account. I am not even able to dispute any charge digitally online. I am forced to call every time. This costs me hours on end each time I need to call because I am put on hold. I should be able to dispute the charge directly on my online banking. But I am unable to do so. The company charges I am disputing with CFPB are charges to XXXX & XXXX on my Capital One Venture One Visa. XXXX has charged my account for bookings not stayed, and initially charged to someone with the name XXXX, not myself. I was promised refunds from Airbnb, and even have documentation proving so. I have sent this to my credit card company ( capital one ), they refuse to dispute this further. I contacted Visa, and they told me Capital One must continue the dispute. Capital One then says they can't because visa policy. it is very odd. I have proof that I am entitled to refunds. I have email documentation from XXXX showing they canceled bookings and issued full refunds. However, I only have partial refunds from XXXX. There is still around {$1000.00} in charges from XXXX that I have not been refunded. I am now being charged a high APR on this. I am unable to pay these charges and each month that goes by this is causing me more debt. I fly with my registered service animal. I have proper documentation. I have flown XXXX in the past, and have not had any issues. The dog was approved with the documentation and I even have written confirmation from XXXX that the dog was approved as a service animal. However, upon arrival at the airport, I was refused entry with my service animal, which made me miss my flight. I then had to spend a ton more money on last minute rentals and flights. The only amounts I am disputing are the charges for the flights that i was unable to take and the charges for luggage I was unable to use. I have evidence that my dog was approved as a service animal on board, and I have evidence that I was denied entry. I then had to book different flights to get home and spent additional money renting cars. I have attached my original booking ticket which shows codes for service animal. Please help me clear out these payments that are unjust and unwarranted. I have evidence I should have full refunds. Thank you.

The teller at the XXXX XXXX branch in XXXX was able to print out and show me where 5 ATM withdrawals where taken from my account in XXXX XXXX XXXX. The transaction occurred on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. I have submitted two complaints which were denied and a email to the bank and was told to reach out to the merchant. Which merchant? I informed the bank that my debit card is misplaced however I was still able to use XXXX XXXX to shop at restaurants and retail stores who accepted XXXX XXXX. This missing money was for the purchase of my used vehicle which now I am unable to purchase due to this incident at the bank and their refusal to address it and refund my missing monies. I recieved a letter back on XX/XX/2023 from Capital One Bank NA stating " we are unable to fulfill your request through written correspondance '' .... Capiatl One failed to follow the requirements in accordance with the Electronic Funds Transfer Act. They failed to RE-CREDIT my account pursuant to 15 usc 1693 ( f ) ( c ) They failed to send me the required notice of my right to request documentary evidence with the letter they sent in acknowledging my notice pursuant to 15 usc 1693f ( a ) - ( d ) " A finaincial Institution shall investigate an alleged error determining whether an error has occurred, and report or mail the results of such investigation and determination to the consumer within ten business days. Purusant to 15 U.S.C. 1693f ( a ) 1693f ( a ) - ( f ). Regulation E further mandates that the financial institution must investigate promptly. 12 C.F.R. 1005.11 ( c ) ( 1 ) ; see id. 1005.11 ( a ) - ( e ). Capital One failed to investigate the alleged error after notice was given. They stated in their correspondance that I had to contact them via telephone which is not in accordance to the law nor my written instructions. Which is a violation of the EFTA ( 15 usc 1693f ( a ) - ( f ) ) and Regulation E ( 12 cfr 1005.11 ( c ) ( 1 ). Also under the CFPA, a violation of a Federal consumer financial law, which includes enumerated consumer laws and rules thereunder, violates theCFPA. 12U.S.C.5536 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) ,5481 ( 14 ). By virtue of its violations of the EFTA and Regulation E, as described above, Capital One also violated the CFPA.

Consumer Complaint: I received my Capital One Walmart rewards card in XX/XX/2022. I at that point activated it for use. I received a bill automatically even though I hadn't had in my possession the card for the previous billing cycle. Capital One afforded me grace at that point. I began to make payments immediately most of which were always early never late and always at least a couple dollars more than minimum due. I checked my reports for reported payments and noticed the payments I was making weren't being reported I utilized a phone call recording app to ensure truthfulness. I confronted Capital One asking why payments weren't being reported as well as informing them that they were speaking on a recorded line due to them recording myself as well. The agent became highly aggressive and made forms of threatening vocabulary. I live in XXXX, a XXXX party consent state and I was a direct party to the communication. I requested transcripts of the conversation which was denied. According to my 3 in 1 credit report Capital One claims I'm severely behind on payments however on their website claims only XXXX months. They continue to send worry some emails even after being told that I no longer feel that I should continue to make payments due to the majority of my payments not being reported as the law requires. I informed them during our last communication that I am not going to continue to go above and beyond to make on time payments to them due to the fact that payments weren't being reported at all as well as the inappropriate demeanor and threatening manner of the customer service agent when confronted with my payments not being reported as they are still not documented properly. I DO NOT feel that due to their conduct, should be entitled to make myself hold my end of the bargain, when during the time that I honored my payments, they didn't properly honor their end. They continue to impose themselves on my reports negatively as of up to date.
