Consumer Complaint: I contacted XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX multiple times, my Initial date of first contact XXXX XXXX follow up letter dated XX/XX/2023. I asked them to investigate & remove the inaccurate accounts from my consumer report that they are illegally reporting. XXXX XXXX, Account : XXXX Capital one, Account : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX This is a clear VIOLATION of my consumer rights under 15 U.S Code 1681b -Permissible purpose of consumer report ( a ) IN GENERAL subject to subsection ( c ) any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances, and no other : ( 2 ) in accordance with WRITTEN INSTRUCTION of the consumer, to whom it relates. I NEVER gave any consumer reporting agency WRITTEN CONSENT to report anything on my consumer report, which violates my rights as a federal protected consumer. 15 U.S.Code 1681 section 602 A. States I have the right to privacy. 15 U.S. Code 1666b A. Creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card account under any open end consumer credit plan as late for any reason. Both these accounts are a VIOLATION of my consumer rights According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) 15 U.S. Code 1681a ( 2 ) a ( 1 ), except as provided in paragraph ( 3 ), the term " consumer report '' does not include reports containing information solely as to TRANSACTIONS. Therefore, I request that my TRANSACTION between Myself and XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, be updated to what is fair and equitable to me as a consumer. I request Accounts be updated to, PAANL ( Paid As Agreed Never Late to my consumer report. NO CONSENT IS IDENTITY THEFT. As a consumer I am demanding that the Accounts LISTED be BLOCKED and DELETED IMMEDIATELY! On XX/XX/2023 I Have Filed a FTC COMPLAINT REPORT XXXX. 15 U.S. Code 1681c-2 A consumer reporting agency shall block reporting of any information in the file of a consumer that the consumer identifies as information that resulted from an alleged identity theft, not later than 4 business days after the date of the receipt by such agency of. ( 1 ) appropriate proof of the identity of the consumer ; ( 2 ) a copy of an identity theft report ; ( 3 ) the identification of such information by the consumer; and ( 4 ) a statement by the consumer that the information is not information relating to any transaction by the consumer.

This company has committed fraud and required payments as well as fraudulently attempted to accept them when federal law states and is PROOF that ALL debt is due to the United States which wouldnt require me by law to owe ANY DEBT to CAPITAL ONE, according to 18 USC 8 which states The term obligation or other security of the United States includes all bonds, certificates of indebtedness, national bank currency , Federal Reserve notes, Federal Reserve bank notes, coupons, United States notes, Treasury notes, gold certificates, silver certificates, fractional notes, certificates of deposit, bills, checks, or drafts for money, drawn by or upon authorized officers of the United States, stamps and other representatives of value, of whatever denomination, issued under any Act of Congress, and canceled United States stamps. which is furthermore PROOF and FACTS that my complaint against this company CANT BE REBUTTED and is also PROOF this company is or has been committing a crime since the first payment was made or is currently being demanded to pay a debt claimed to be owed by me.

Consumer Complaint: CAPITAL ONE INTEREST SCAM/FRAUD XX/XX/XXXX was my credit card due date {$610.00}. Paid on XX/XX/XXXX not only the statement balance but the whole account balance {$1300.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX I was charged XXXX in interest. They say interests are residual from the previous statement that I haven't paid XXXX dollars ( their system doesn't consider that amount as balance if you cancel, then you pay less than the whole statement, fine print, and system " glitch '' ). The result... they say they charge daily interest for every transaction after the statement isn't paid in full even though the new transactions are not due yet. So, XXXX dollars not paid on a statement generate XXXX dollars of interest just one month after that. Should I call it a scam or fraud? Please take action on behalf of misleading customers.

Consumer Complaint: I have been a customer with Capital One for the past 25 years. I've never missed a payment and have paid on time in full each month since I have been with them. My current card provided a 1 % reward on all purchases. I recently lost my card and asked for a replacement which was received in about 10 days from my request. After using the card for a few days was refused by a vendor. I called Capital One and was advised that a restriction was placed on the card. The customer service rep indicated that she did not why the restriction was applied but indicated she had removed it. The following day I attempted to use the card again and again it was refused. Once again I called Capital One and was advised the the restriction was reapplied. I asked why and was told they did not know. I asked to speak with a manager and was told they did not know either but that they would not speak with me until I provided them with a photo of my driver 's license front and back. I gave them the DL number but did not see a reason to provide them with the photo as there have never been any problems with identification for the past 25 years. Again, all bills have been paid to date. I decided to cancel my account with them and cancelled my account after all debts had been paid. When I requested my Reward balance of {$550.00} they refused and advised me that as I had not provided them with the photo ID they would not return the reward. As the photo ID was demanded when this issue arose as opposed to anytime in the past 25 years I did not think it was appropriate and was tantamount to extortion of sorts and was used as an excuse not to return what was agreed to regarding the conditions of the card. Please let me know if you require anything in addition to the above. Thank you XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I received a credit card from Capital One where I have never gave my authorization to open accounts. I called them immediately and cancelled the account, but result of closing account, it'll affect my credit record negatively. They have my personal information and I can't verify that they erase my information. ( I told them to delete all my information ) I also asked them to report their fraud department to investigate why and how they send me an unauthorized card. Hopefully Capital One does not sending unauthorized card randomly to capture unaware consumers. I just wanted to report that this kind of fraud could be possible and may need to investigate.

Consumer Complaint: During the time of " Late Payment '' I incurred Health issues ( XXXX ) that prevented me from paying the agreed amount with the agreed percentage increase. Given 15 U.S. CODE 1665 C, they should have considered reduction in annual % rate. This was not factored into the amount owed. Therefore, I would like to have the late payment reports to be removed. I am of better condition than previously and have reached out to the companies to arrange the payments to be finalized in its full within 2-3 payments. Consumer Complaint: My Capital One Statement date is for XX/XX/XXXX thru XX/XX/2023 ; with the due date of XX/XX/2023 also the statement dated for XX/XX/XXXX thru XX/XX/2023 with the due date of XXXX XXXX. I made a payment to the comapany on XXXX XXXX which left a balance of {$770.00}. When the XXXX statement came in it stated the balance was {$770.00}. On XXXX XXXX I made a payment of {$35.00} and then again on XXXX XXXX I paid the remaining balance of {$740.00} ( this payment was posted the same day and taken from my bank account on the XXXX ). This should have left me with a {$0.00} balance on the card. I receieved the statement that has the due date for XXXX XXXX with a balance of {$14.00} for interest on purchases. I have not purchased anything since XXXX of XXXX according to my statements. My main complaint is why do I have a balance of {$14.00} on my current statement for interest on an account which was paid in full before the due date and why should I pay this charge????????
