Consumer Complaint: - Charged by a business on XX/XX/23 to my Capital One Venture card. - Business did not provide agreed-upon services by agreed upon date XX/XX/23. - Capital One reversed the charge on XX/XX/23 and dispute was started. - Captiol One re-charged me on XX/XX/23 in favor of the business. - Business is providing the charged receipt in their system as documentation and submitted XXXX sentence that the charge was valid. I've given Capital One multiple emails between me and the business to of me attempting to resolve the charges the business and receive the paid-for services. - Capitol One seems unable to provide specific information on what I need to document to win the case. - Capitol One has not provided me with proof from the merchant that described services that were rendered. - Contacted Capitol One to verify they received the documents I provided and I was requested to provide more documentation while the business has no burden of proof to take my money.

Consumer Complaint: I have sent a notarized and certified notice of Validation of debt to Capital One Attn : XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX VA XXXX the end of XXXX of this year. I received a generic letter back dated XX/XX/2023 without reference of a signature stating ; " We are closing this account because activity on this or another account is not consistent with our expectations for account usage and violates the Capital One Customer Agreement. '' They are aware of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, in addition to my home state laws regarding debt collection practices. Under such laws, I am asserting my right to receive the following information to my requests. The company took an adverse action by closing my account in retaliation because I ask for validation of debt which again I am entitled to by law and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Federal Trade Commission. My information to being shared with a third party creditor such as XXXX XXXX and the 3 credit reporting bureaus without my consent. My credit limit with Capital One was {$2500.00}. They are reporting I owe over {$4000.00} which is incorrect. They are also reporting the increase and decrease the credit usage without my consent. I have opted out of them sharing any information and they are in violation

Consumer Complaint: On my credit report it shows that i have a charge off on a closed installment account that was settled in Superior court. My ex spouse was to take over any obligatiomn or financial responsibility of these auto accounts. I have the order attatcheted. My divorce was finalized in XXXX and everything was divied up. Also this account is past the limitations of reporting. In XXXX i recieved settlement payment from XXXX in result of a class action lawsuit. I was unfortunatly one of their many victims of unfair trade practices and credit reporting as well as many other tactics used by XXXX and their offiliate capital one auto finance company by adding a fee through their online portal and not charging to the account. in the suit it states that XXXX must remove this from my credit file to be in alliance with said order.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX I received an alert from XXXX XXXX stating that my capital one account had been deleting from reporting, today I received another alert that it had been reinserted into my XXXX credit file in which I have not been informed 5 days prior to reinserting 15 USC 1691i ( B ) requirements relating to reinsertion of previously deleted material. My consumer protected rights have been violated on multiple occasions and I do not understand why. Please discharge this account information from your books as it is prohibited to share transaction history 15 USC 1681b ( 2 ) ( I ) exclusions in reporting containing information solely as to transactions or experiences between the consumer and the person making the report. This company has not not provided an official affidavit of debt, proof of ownership also known as the chain of custody, nor the full accounting records public and private in accordance to GAAP ( General accepted accounting principles ). In order for a contract to be enforceable provide the key elements of a contract law including full disclosure with Capital One equal consideration, lawful terms and conditions along with the signature of both parties, please be advised an authorized representative does not make the contract enforceable.

Consumer Complaint: Hello the reason I am writing this letter is because I was impacted by XXXX on XX/XX/2021, to the point where I lost my job and I felt into a financial crisis, I had to put my Mortgage into Forbearance for a full year. Due to this financial crisis after being impacted by XXXX, I called to explain ( Capital one ) that I was impacted financially, and I asked them to help me through this process, but they never offer me any Aid option for financial hardship, they were clear all the time that if I don't make payments on time they were going to report my account late to credit bureau , and that's what they did. I am so disappointed with Capital one policy, if you check my payment history you can see I was always on time since day one with my credit card, til I was impacted by XXXX XX/XX/2021. This account had a balance of {$1500.00}, and with continues late charges it went up to {$2000.00}.
