Consumer Complaint: There is information on my XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and other Credit Reporting Agencies that need to be removed immediately. The Fair Credit Reporting Act states that I have a right to privacy and the only way a consumer report can be furnished is with the consumers written instructions. I never gave any consumer reporting agency any written instructions to furnish my information. Also transactions and experiences between consumer and a person making the report are not supposed to be on my report as well. All of this is FEDERAL LAW, the consumer reporting agencies have violated several of my federally protected rights and I need XXXX XXXX XXXX, CAPITAL ONE Removed from all of my consumer reports immediately as it is hurting my ability to provide for myself and my family and the consumer reporting agencies are to exercise their grave responsibilities. I did not authorize or consent to any transactions as the consumer.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX is illegally allowing/providing XXXX XXXX XXXX operating under Capital One access to my consumer reports prior to and after I requested to opt out of sharing consumer data. I currently do not have any accounts banking or credit accounts with Capital1, prior to XXXX, I had accounts with XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX which were closed prior to Capital purchase of said brand. At no time did I or ask Capital1 for any additional lines of credit or to re-open any accounts my business was concluded with the cardholder once accounts were closed in XXXX. At no time did I grant permission purpose to Capital1 for any reasons in fact I sent XXXX a letter opting out of sharing data without my express written consent. Capital1 has illegally obtained/requested my consumer report every month from XX/XX/XXXX to present date. I attempted to reach out to Capital1 who refused to provide answers or cease and desist illegally accessing my consumer reports. I am requesting CFPB investigate and bring legal actions against both parties for illegally access consumer credit reports and enact or enforce current laws that provide consumer protection and relief from this abusive practice.

Issue: Problem with a purchase shown on your statement
Subissue: Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX charged my Capital One card {$180.00} for a defective product subscription that I had already canceled due to its failures. I disputed that fraudulent charge with Capital One which provided a temporary credit. However, on XXXX Capital One fraudulently posted a {$180.00} PURCHASE ADJUSTMENT without notifying me. When I discovered this Capital One failure, I immediately contacted their dispute department with proof of timely cancellation during free trial and confirmation of that timely cancellation from XXXX. The Capital One rep state that he would E-mail me a link to upload the XXXX written confirmations. He failed to do as he stated. I called back and spoke with another Capital One rep who stated that a letter would be mailed to me with instructions to upload the XXXX written confirmations. That never happened either.

Consumer Complaint: My brother sent me an antique clock by XXXX from New Hampshire to my vacation home in XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX. The charge was {$400.00} for this clock. This was sent on XX/XX/23. The clock never showed up and got stuck at customs in XXXX, XXXX. XXXX said they couldn't deliver the clock and were going to send it back to NH. I told them to send it to my main residence in XXXXXXXX XXXX instead where my inlaws live as well. XXXX never mentioned there would be any charges to reroute the package since they wouldn't deliver it to the original destination as promised. They just said to make a XXXX account and they would send it to that address. I did this then all of a sudden a week or two later I found a {$1400.00} charge on my Capital One credit card on XX/XX/23. This is a fraudulent charge and I never authorized any additional charges other than the original {$400.00} charge to ship from NH to XXXX. I have made numerous attempts to dispute this charge and fraud by XXXX to Capital One and neither company will do anything about it and say because we signed up for a XXXX account that gives them the right to charge whatever they want, which is absolutely absurd. It is approximately 30 miles from XXXX, XXXX to XXXXXXXX XXXX and they just decided to charge whatever they wanted without informing me or telling me there would be any charge whatsoever. I have email proof of all this and attached all kind of documentation.

Consumer Complaint: 2023 XX/XX/2023 Case Number : XXXX XXXX XXXX I am writing to file a complaint against [ Capital One Bank ] for [ denying and refusing to credit back to my account {$840.00} for a defective/ faulty piece of equipment/malfunctioning machine that I purchased from The Merchant name is XXXX. We purchased this piece of equipment from their companys website XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Order Number : XXXX dated ( XX/XX/2023 ) and received it on XX/XX/2023, however, this order ( which is Order Number : XXXX ) contained a malfunctioning machine / defective equipment on my Capital One credit card Capital One Account # XXXX. I notified the merchant first about the problem with the equipment and they in turn requested pictures of the machine when it would malfunction and stop working. I provided the information that they requested of me. They went as far as even suggesting that I try to find any repair point locally and they would bear the repair cost, in addition to offering a partially refunded to be in in the amount of {$250.00} as compensation for me to try to keep it. I should not have to pay that much money for something and then have to search for someone to make repairs to it before it is able to operate. I am willing to return this piece of equipment back to them if they would send me the requested material ( the return slip ) which is needed to return the machine, Again I do not think that I should or am obligated to have to pay for something that was/is non-operational when I received it and does not work I next notified my credit card company about this problem. They had at first refunded my account back the {$840.00} the amount I am disputing, which I had already paid but then they took it back off and reapply the charge back to my account stating that the charge would appear on my next one to two billing statements because the XXXX disputed my claim At that time, they considered my case closed. and If I wanted to continue with this dispute, They requested a signed and dated letter that included my case number, the merchant 's name, the date of the transaction, and the disputed amount by XX/XX/2023. along with all of the correspondence describing the problem I had experienced and copies of all relevant documents that support my claim, which I have provided them with all of this information. I was instructed to fax the requested information to XXXX XXXX and allow 10 business days for THEM to respond This has been going on since or first started XX/XX/2023 2023
