Consumer Complaint: My payment is due on the XXXX of each month, I've not missed a payment. Just paid more than what was required and saw that they had added a late fee today {$39.00}. I called and spoke to a customer service rep, XXXX and he stated although it is the XXXX it is late because of the time zone. What nonsense is that, It's not XXXX which would be the next day, but it's XXXX my time XXXX there's. Capital one should NOT be able to get away with charging a late fee ON the due date. If the date states the due date regardless of the time and it's before midnight, they should be accepting payment without a late fee.

Consumer Complaint: I attempted to transfer my hard earned Capital One travel points to my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) on XX/XX/2023 as I am looking to book air tickets for me, my XXXX years ' old husband and my son around XXXX as I am getting a good deal. The first transfer of XXXX points went through immediately. The second attempt at transferring about XXXX points has been under " pending transfer '' for over 3 days now. The confirmation code that I received on the Capital One app that shows pending transfer is XXXX and it says that the typical transfer happens in 1 business day. However, these points are stuck and Capital One has been nothing but unhelpful in getting this fixed. I called the customer service and was told that they were worried that the transfer was fraudulent. After I verified all my details, they said that they realize that the transfer is legit but they have no way of manually ( a ) completing this transaction, or ( b ) canceling this transaction for the points to show back into my Capital One account. Needless to say, the deal for the ticket that I was attempting to book has ended and it will cost me {$1000.00} more to buy the same ticket. It is disgusting that a company like Capital One is making us XXXX XXXX suffer.

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to file a complaint against Capital One regarding their refusal to refund fraudulent charges on my credit card accounts. I added my cousin as an authorized user in good faith, but he abused this privilege and made extensive fraudulent purchases, incurring {$42000.00} on the Venture card and {$44000.00} on the XXXX card. When I disputed these transactions, Capital One denied any refund, claiming that I am fully liable for the charges. I believe that Capital One 's negligence and failure to protect me from this clear fraud is a violation of consumer protection regulations, including the Electronic Fund Transfer Act and Regulation E.

Consumer Complaint: This is in regards to my XXXX Capital One credit card. The XX/XX/XXXX statement balance for my account was {$11000.00}. This account is set up for automatic payment of the full amount on the XXXX of each month. The next payment is scheduled for XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I made a payment of {$10000.00} which should have reduced the statement balance to {$1300.00}. Yet - even though I already paid {$10000.00} toward this account- Capital One will still deduct the entire {$11000.00} from my checking account. The only way I can avoid this is to cancel the automatic payment for the month of XXXX. How is this practice ethical? If I paid {$10000.00} toward the balance of {$11000.00} shouldn't that payment be reflected at the time the automatic payment is due? This seems unethical to me.
