Consumer Complaint: Within the week of XX/XX/2023, I got a mail from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, offering I pay half ( {$1500.00} ) of a debt of ( {$3100.00} ) charged to a Capital One credit card. I called the capital one customer service to inform them that account was fraudulent. Within the week of XX/XX/2023, I received a mail stating that the company made an investigation and determined there was no sign of fraud. I called capital one customer service and was transferred to a supervisor who maintained the same claim. I requested the billing details and called their customer service to let them know they were defrauded. Within the week of XX/XX/2023, I received a letter from an another debt collector - XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX email them on XX/XX/2023. XX/XX/2023, I got a mail that Im being sued by Capital One. I filed XXXX answer on XX/XX/2023.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, I purchased at my bank 4 cashiers checks to send in 1 at a time to Capital One Credit Card services. I mailed the first one on XX/XX/XXXX, so that it could be there by XX/XX/XXXX ( the payment due date ), they supposedly didn't receive it until XX/XX/XXXX. A late fee was applied. Mailed on XX/XX/XXXX and not received until XX/XX/XXXX is 19 business days. The US postal service does not take 19 business days to send a standard letter sized piece of mail from XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Fast forward to XXXX ' XXXX payment, I sent out XXXX 's payment on XX/XX/XXXX. It is now XX/XX/XXXX, and Capital One has not yet credited my account. It is my belief that Capital One is going to charge another late fee. I called my bank and inquired as to the status of the payment mailed on XX/XX/XXXX and it had not been cashed. Had this check been stolen, it would have been cashed. It is clear to me that fraud is happening at Capital One.

Consumer Complaint: I ordered this phone in XX/XX/2023. It was marked delivered several days after and I immediately opened a claim with XXXX and XXXX as the phone was not on my porch. Weeks went by and while I was refunded, I was subsequently rebilled by Capital One as the tracking number showed the parcel had been scanned to my regional facility. After a few months -- on XX/XX/2023, XXXX responded to my claim and I was able to pick up the device I ordered in XXXX. The issue is however, is that XXXX has locked the phone since I opened a claim and despite opening a dispute with Capital One I am still on the hook for the charges with a device that is unusable. This is my first ever chargeback and was sure that Capital One would have supported me however I must file this complaint due to my thorough dispute claims being ignored.

This was done by Capital One and I know these banks are trying to save their tails by issuing this XXXX card down our throats. We have a right to choose this not forced. I have to pre approve it. Im angry they did this. They arrogantly said I couldnt do anything about it and for me to open another Kohls credit card if I want. I have a balance on my Kohls card and now have to open another Kohls card? Why?

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX i made a mobile deposit to Capital One Bank and received an email saying the deposit would be placed on hold until XX/XX/2023. I understand the process of letting the funds clear to ensure the check was good. I did not receive any other notifications. On XXXX XXXX I call customer service and ask when the deposit would be available and was told the check now looks suspicious and would not be released until XX/XX/2023 at XXXX XXXX. They then tried to call to person who wrote the check and did not get an answer. This person should not have to justify themself to my bank for any reason. I am now without my money for 60 days because of some person at the bank. I tried to cancel the deposite and they would not let me. I did not ask them to trust anyone, they had enough time to clear the check thru the other bank. Other than some XXXX handling the account i can think of no reason to withhold this check if it has cleared. XXXX XXXX
