When I called in to try to get same offer the original offer was tweaked and different from in mail. I explained that to customer service on XX/XX/2023 and I was hung up on but before that I was called XXXX and told I'll never have a good credit score in life

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2023, XXXX XXXX had a security breach and my information was part of that breach. I signed up for XXXX immediately after, so XX/XX/2023. Today, XX/XX/2023, I received an email from Capital One approving me for a Venture Rewards card with {$10000.00} limit. I did not apply for this card. I called Capital One and reported it as fraud the person who applied for the card used my name, phone number, email, and address ( all leaked from XXXX XXXX ) so the person at Capital One asked me if I was sure I did not apply for this card or someone who is authorized to act on my behalf did not apply for this card. I can confirm I did not apply for this card. Also, the home phone number of the card is not my number, I assume it's the fraudsters.
