Consumer Complaint: Capital one customer rep didn't correctly enter my new bank payment info prior to payment date. They tried to take the money from a closed bank account. I made a call and paid the bill as soon as I received an alert of a returned ACH payment, I called very upset and set up auto payments again viu a customer service repXXXX All late fees and interest charges were waved and they apologized for the error. Next billing cycle, capital is asking me to pay the 'stmt amount '. Statement includes the returned payment, but not the new payment made. Capital requests I pay again the payment amount + late fees and interest charges that were waved. They demand I pay the whole statment amount that is outdated. Statment is XXXX dollars, current balance is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Current balance is a running balance that has the payment applied and fees and interest waved. Called customer service, but they say I have to pay the statement amount that has late fees that were waved because I agreed to pay full statement amount when I enrolled into auto payments when they entered my new bank info. No record of any calls between me and customer service rep about bank changes made in XXXX. No record of who waved the fees, no adaquate notes explaining the issue was caused by error made by capital employ .... Asked if they have a record of the fee waved, they do but can't trace it to why it was done. Asked them to tell me my corrected balance due for the statment ending XX/XX/XXXX, customer service says its XXXX because that's what the statment *says*. Current balance owned to date is XXXX dollars. Capital wants the uncorrected balance and late fees +interest or, per customer service rep, I will be responsible for additional late fees and interests. Asked to file a complaint, customer rep says she will, but it will be internal and I will not know the outcome. I asked who can I file a complaint with that will share the investigation outcome with me, she says she doesn't know. Call was 1 hr and 4 min on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX.it was recorded. The customer service people who handled my call were unskilled, and were attempting to use fradulant and deceptive practices to charge me interest and late fees on a payed balance. The whole ordeal is affecting my excellent credit score..

Consumer Complaint: I am writing again this complaint to CAPITAL ONE I sent them a letter regarding the inaccuracies in my report such as date of last activity, date opened, date reported, payment status, charges and etc, but they keep on telling me that no errors on my report which in fact this account is totally fraud because of illegal and unauthorized charges. It's even more than 30 days past to complete the investigation and they claimed that they did a thorough investigation. However, when I checked my report, I did not see any changes made at all. The inaccurate information are still reporting. My rights have been violated numerous times. 15 U.S.C 1681 section 602 A. States that I have the right to privacy. 15 U.S.C 1681 section 604 A Section 2. It also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instruction.

Consumer Complaint: My VentureOne credit card from CapitalOne Bank ending in XXXX have disappeared from ALL THREE credit reports, I have contacted CapitalOne Bank and advised them of this issue since the beginning, they keep saying it will get resolve in the next billing cycle, but It has been several months with no resolution to this issue, and to why this credit card suddenly disappeared and no longer being reported to ALL THREE credit bureaus. Account is in good standing, never late opened back in 2016, one of my oldest credit cards, my credit score went down several points due to this card no longer being reported to the credit bureaus ( XXXX, XXXX, XXXX ) I also wanted to mention I have added my husband as an authorized user ( Manager ) on this same account and also for him this card is not being reported on his credit report.
