Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX bill was due on XX/XX/XXXX, the system showed payment received but I noticed that the due bill amount wasn't deducted from the checking account ( despite not having a sufficient amount for full payment ). So I transferred the payment from my checking to my credit card account and made full payment. XX/XX/XXXX, the system showed returned ACH card payment and charged me Past Due Fee {$25.00} and on XX/XX/XXXX interest charge {$40.00}. I learnt the lesson and made sure the XXXX card payment was paid in full amount. XXXX bill is paid in full amount on due date. But I got another charge of {$23.00} on XX/XX/XXXX! The bank said it was for interest charges for XXXX which I already paid the interest charges on XX/XX/XXXX without any further explanation. Captial One is a total fraud for not explaining well to the customer and confusing its customer by showing payment settled and abusing for more money of late fees and interest charges. The interest charge mechanism is a fraud in Captial One and I refuse to pay for any interest that is incorrectly added to me. I hope CFPB can assist consumers and Capital One should give a transparent transaction to its customers instead of the attitude that you are in my bank, I do what I want behaviour.

Consumer Complaint: For my Kohls/Capital One XXXX, I never received a true/certified copy of the original application for credit showing the wet ink signatures authorizing and binding myself and Kohl's/ Capital One. I have no records of signing with my wet signature to authorize the account. I never received the true invoices signed under penalty of perjury confirming that Kohl's/ Capital One provided their own assets and that the alleged debts are valid. According to 12 USC 83 banks are prohibited from loaning their own assets i.e. shares of stock. Finally, I never received the accounting statements from Kohl's/ Capital One related to the account i.e. 1099 0ID, 1096, INC, PRC and 1099. On top of that various laws have been violated. For example, as per 15 USC 1681 Section 604 A Section 2 a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written consent. I never provided my written consent/ instructions. According to 15 USC 1681 c. ( a ) ( 5 ) no consumer reporting agency may make any consumer report containing any of the following pieces of information any other adverse items of information other than records of convictions of crime which antedates the report by more than seven years. According to 15 USC 1681 s-2 ( A ) ( 1 ) A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate.

Consumer Complaint: My credit card is through capital one, and this involves a transaction with XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I placed an order from {$63.00} for food delivery from XXXX using my card. The food was not delivered and I have documentation of that. XXXX would not refund the money, however. On XX/XX/XXXX, {$63.00}, my card was charged I disputed the charge and capital one credited that amount back to me on XX/XX/2023. The dispute was resolved in my favor because, I was told, XXXX did not respond to capital one. On XX/XX/2023, my card was charged {$63.00} by XXXX again. I did not order anything for that amount and did not receive any food or services for that amount. I did not approve that transaction. I disputed that transaction, but Capital One just contacted me saying they received from XXXX " documentation '' of the transaction. I am submitting to Capital One my order history showing I did not order anything on that date. However, I am concerned about the fact that XXXX submitted documentation to Capital One that is fraudulent. The Capital One support agent said that XXXX sent them a receipt of the transaction, which did not occur.

The company Ive called them Ive given my information, and they even stated that whoever was using my identity was using my maiden last name, I have been married for over XXXX years now. The inquiries were made in XXXX and XXXX. Please have these inquiries removed off my credit report immediately. Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of 2022, Kohls Department Store reported an inaccurate late payment of a store charge of {$40.00} dollars. I have never received a bill in the mail. When I contacted the company they said they sent a statement bill to an unknown address that wasn't mine as my address. The company has mailed me a check for the inconvenience which I have not deposited however the error kept reporting on my credit and dropped my scores for that derogatory information. I was told by the rep over the phone they would correct the issue and update my credit. I still have a late payment and this is still on all of my credit agencies and needs to be deleted and compliant with the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), I have the right to dispute any inaccurate or incomplete information in your credit report. Additionally, I have the right to request an FCRA deletion which requires the credit reporting agency to delete any information that can not be verified as accurate. Call to action to delete all late payments.
