Consumer Complaint: In the last two days XXXX, I tried to transfer Capital One points to an outside partner. Each time I click on the transfer link, it takes me to a two step verification page. The current number I have on file is not accepted as a verification method. I spoke with three customer service representatives on XX/XX/13, and none of them were able to solve the issue. They said it was a system transfer issue. I signed up for this card for the ability to transfer points to airline partners. They told me I can only use the points towards a purchase. The ticket Im looking at is XXXX points on XXXX XXXX. To buy the ticket outright and then request to apply points was the customer service suggestion. This would cost {$2000.00}. XXXX points ( which I have in my account ), would still leave me with an {$1100.00} balance, and put an additional XXXX points. This is false advertising and I would have never signed up for this card if I knew the back end system would not let me transfer points to airline partners.

Consumer Complaint: I filed a complaint with you back in XXXX and was finally able to register my car, with my ex-husband 's name on it in XXXX of XXXX. I really need some help dealing with Capital One. They have now locked my app and are demanding that I call in with payments. I would like them, in good faith, to credit my account for One Month and to stop threatening me with re-possession, as my account is not as delinquent as they say it is. This is not a game anymore. I will be calling in my payment on Thursday afternoon when I get paid, according to our payment arrangement. I would also like to see a 1 Month credit posted to my account as I am sincerely frustrated with them. Please tell them my response to the financial hardship is that for about 9 months I could not use my vehicle due to the inability to register the car because of their titling issue. I did their work and got the Title from the State of New Hampshire when they told me they had it all along. It is still incorrect as my ex-husband is still on it. When I re-financed in XXXX, he released all interest in the vehicle and Capital one admitted to shredding documents. Can you please help me with this stupidity.

Consumer Complaint: Two years ago, I received an advertisement from capital one, that I was pre-approved on a credit card offer, I applied and was denied, I was told to applied on a secure card and build credit, which I done. I was told after a years of good payment my card will be updated to better credit card. On XX/XX/2023 I received an offer from capital one. For a better credit card since I already had one for more than a year. I applied Application ID : XXXX. Then I received an email that I was approved but I will need to upload two pieces of information. A state ID and social card or a letter from IRS. Which was done! I was very offset. Not only I have a credit card and, I also have a bank account with the same financial institute. It have been more a month now I still not receive the credit card, I called several time still, still no response. This is violation on my rights as consumers please assist

Consumer Complaint: I'm writing about my Capital One SavorOne credit card. I had closed the card due in XXXX XXXX after a fraudulent charge. Capital One sent me a new card, but I didn't activate it right away and didn't use it for several months. Without my knowledge or permission, several subscription services XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and XXXX XXXX XXXX charged the new card- even though it had not been activated and should not have been able to be charged. I was unaware of these charges and didn't know the card had accrued a balance as I had never activated the card. When I realized the card now had a balance ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, I immediately paid it in full. I've been a Capital One customer for about 10 years with two credit cards and have never missed a payment before this and I haven't in the nearly two years since this incident. This one late payment has lowered my previously excellent credit score significantly and is impacting my ability to get a mortgage loan. The card should not have been able to be charged because I never activated it. CapitalOne has refused to remove the late payment from my record, even though I did not authorize these charges and it never should've had a balance in the first place.

Consumer Complaint: THIS COMPLAINT SHOWN BELOW FILED ON XX/XX/23 ( CFPB # XXXX ) WAS INCACCURATELY LISTED AS A DUPLICATE COMPLAINT. AS A RESULT I AM REQUESTING THE ARBITRATION AGREEMENT AND THE CONTACT FOR THE LEGAL DEPARTMENT AS THE SPECIFIC INFORMATION REQUESTED WAS NOT SUPPLIED. For my Kohls/Capital One XXXX, I never received a true/certified copy of the original application for credit showing the wet ink signatures authorizing and binding myself and Kohl's/ Capital One. I have no records of signing with my wet signature to authorize the account. I never received the true invoices signed under penalty of perjury confirming that Kohl's/ Capital One provided their own assets and that the alleged debts are valid. According to 12 USC 83 banks are prohibited from loaning their own assets i.e. shares of stock. Finally, I never received the accounting statements from Kohl's/ Capital One related to the account i.e. XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. On top of that various laws have been violated. For example, as per 15 USC 1681 Section 604 A Section 2 a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written consent. I never provided my written consent/ instructions. According to 15 USC 1681 c. ( a ) ( 5 ) no consumer reporting agency may make any consumer report containing any of the following pieces of information any other adverse items of information other than records of convictions of crime which antedates the report by more than seven years. According to 15 USC 1681 s-2 ( A ) ( 1 ) A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. THIS IS THE PRIOR COMPLAINT FILED ON XX/XX/23 ( CFPB XXXX ) AND AS YOU CAN SEE THE COMPLAINT IS NOT THE SAME Kohls credit card financed by Capital One continues to make inaccurate entries on my credit report for an alleged debt however they have failed to provide the contract binding both parties. AS I DID NOT GIVE WRITTEN CONSENT ON ANY CONTRACT, I AM DEMANDING THE ARBITRATION AGREEMENT, THE CONTACT FOR THE LEGAL DEPARTMENT AND THAT YOU PRODUCE THE EXACT DOCUMENTS REQUESTED IN THE XX/XX/23 COMPLAINT IN THE EXACT MANNER PRESCRIBED OR YOU HAVE NO OTHER OPTION BUT TO DELETE THE ENTRIES FROM ALL THE CREDIT BUREAUS.
