Consumer Complaint: After sending XXXX from my capital one to my XXXX account. XXXX banned my account. So i disputed it with my capital one bank, they credited XXXX $ to my account. Just to take it out 2 months later so I woke up to a negative balance one day. After calling them. They said they denied my dispute. Their reason was that XXXX provided them proof of transaction. So after a lot of back an forth with XXXX i got access to my account again. Just to find out they have made an adjustment and left my account with a negative balance of XXXX $ because of the dispute i had done with capital one. I got in contact with them and told them capital one denied my dispute. But they tell me they have the money and i should get in contact with capital one. So i get in contact with them. Horrible customer service, nobody tries to help you and when you ask for a supervisor they make you wait 30 mins in line. After multiple days of calling. Capital one re- opened my dispute. I provided them all the documents showing my account was banned right at the day of transfer. And that right now its at a negative balance. But they denied my dispute yet again. So now XXXX $ is literally on the air. XXXX claims they have it. And that i should open a dispute with them. While they claim they made their final decision, and that I should contact XXXX 2 ridiculous online banks one worse than the other. With chime threatening me to send my balance to collections. If that happens. Both are gon na be taken to court.

Consumer Complaint: Capital one auto finance reported to credit bureaus that my total loan balance increased by {$52.00} This affects my score it dropped i disputed this NOW theyve reported that my balance had gone up by {$120.00}!! Ive never missed a payment always pay more than required agent keeps saying interest accrues daily i KNOW that! Been paying several years this has NEVER happened balance should steadily GO DOWN not up! Agent says youre all paid up nothing due till XX/XX/XXXX BUT we got your payment but didnt post it until blah blah so somehow the extra $ i paid just vanished agent talks in circles doesnt really say anything and DOESNT explain WHY they keep increasing my loan balance! What is happening to the extra money i always send? Why is this all of a sudden happening?? If they keep adding to the balance even though i dont miss payments and always pay more HOW will i ever pay it off?? Also ive requested paper billing several times and have not gotten it Agent told me XX/XX/XXXX she would email me the information and did not The online statement doesnt show how much interest each month only total paid to date doesnt break down principal/interest I want paper billing and i want them to STOP reporting my balance increasing every month!! They reported balance DOWN by {$120.00} then changed it NEXT day to UP {$120.00} WHAT is going on with this company??

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX I called capital one to ask them to close my account. I asked for the pay off. The agent advised they would apply the {$400.00} I paid to start the account and that would leave. {$270.00} Which I paid online confirmation code XXXX. Then next month I receive a letter from capital one which I ignored because I thought it was sent after I paid and closed my account. Maybe XXXX months are so go by I receive a bill. I immediately called and the representative stated that the previous representative did not give me the correct pay off and that there was a {$3.00} interest charge that was not included in the amount the previous representative advised and late fee for not paying the {$3.00}. I advised the account is closed and that I called to close. Mind you their calls are recorded and I would like them pulled for court. Multiple times they dropped the ball and continue to report to the credit bureau and now say I owe almost {$200.00} in fees and penalties for an account that I closed. The last time I called the representative advised he would wave the fees and close the account. That was probably around XXXX. We are now in XXXX and they have continued to charge when this account was paid in full supposed to be closed and when they made a mistake and only showed like {$14.00} in fees they advised again they would wave the fee and close the account. To this day they are charging me fees and interest when I don't owe anything and still have not I closed this account. I don't owe them anything and this has hurt my credit for almost a year. They have messed with my lively hood and should be held responsible for what they have done. I would like to press charges but the police stated it would be a civil matter so I am starting here before contacting a lawyer on what to do against this multimillion dollar company that is trying to XXXX and discredit me.

Consumer Complaint: After Closing my account due to theft from an unknown party, capital one has failed to provide me with the money that was stolen from me on XX/XX/. on said date, my capital one 360 debit card was stolen at an unknown location presumably a store i went to that day and my ATM card was used to take {$320.00} out of my account. i have filed a police report, and even explained to capital one how i was a victim of theft earlier on, when i had originally filed a claim with them to get my money back. my claim has recently came back denied, and when i asked the customer service representative to furnish me with the documents or proof they used to make this decision, they had abruptly said thank you for calling capital one have a good day sir.

I need to rent a home for my family and started filling applications for rental companies, which require {$120.00} non-refundable fee. After I was declined a rental, I realized that my credit score is low. I called Capital One on XX/XX/XXXX about this and they gave me a pile of empty words said Give us 60-90 days to look into the matter. I filed a despite with XXXX on XX/XX/2023 and they also said they will take 60-90 days to review the matter. Am I supposed to keep my family of 4 homeless for 90 days while these organizations review the matter? This will cost me {$15.00} XXXX in Airbnb charges. The Capital One must pay for this cost.

Consumer Complaint: It is impossible for me to change my physical address in my profile. I have not lived in XXXX for 5 years and during that time I have tried to change my physical address several times a year, hoping that the Capital One IT system has changed but it has not. My ex girlfriend lives at the address in XXXX that is currently posted in my Capital One account. I'm not 100 % sure that this is the reason I get credit card offers for her at my Arizona address but it seems logical. I got married since moving from XXXX and my new wife does not like getting credit card offers for my ex-girlfriend here in Arizona. I have called a total of three times in attempts to resolve this. I even sent a letter addressed to the IT manager at Capital One but I have no idea if it was delivered to the desired individual. I don't know what else to do which is way I fill out a complaint now. The main problem lies in the Capital One IT system that apparently uses the US Postal Service database for " valid addresses ''. I live in a very sparsely populated rural area and the US Postal Service does not deliver mail here. XXXX and XXXX does come here and we have a " XXXX sign '' at the gate of our 120 acre property, so it is a very real address. Just because the postal service does not deliver here, does not make our address " invalid '', which is a joke. Capital One needs to get IT people that actually know what they are doing and change the system so that a user can have a choice when they fill out their physical address. Instead of a prompt that basically tells they user that they don't know what their own address is, give them a choice that says, " are you sure this address is correct? '' Why there is such a stringent method used by Capital One for customers ' physical addresses is a total mystery and beyond stupid. My Capital One accounts are Cabela 's and Wal Mart ending is XXXX and XXXX respectively.
