Consumer Complaint: In Late XXXX early XXXX I was working with a car dealership, they asked me to place a {$1000.00} hold on a vehicle from it being sold to someone else. The dealership had two lots, one in XXXX, VA which I was dealing with and another one in XXXX, VA ( where the car I was interested in was ) The dealership never picked up the vehicle from the XXXX lot and after a week I was fed up with going back and forth with the dealership and I told them to send me back the {$1000.00} hold they requested. They are refusing to send my money back, Ive also disputed it with Capital One Bank but they have not given me my money back either. I have no other resource to help me with this issue. The dealership did not honor their half of the commitment of getting the vehicle. I am not sure what I can do to get the money back for a vehicle they never retrieved for me..

I filed charge dispute the same day with capital one. Capital one bank made a decision XX/XX/23 to deny my dispute and notified me to contact vendor, walmart. So I went to walmart XX/XX/23 to get video footage of myself walking out without groceries. Walmart told me on XX/XX/23 that is was impossible to replay footage from XX/XX/23 because that was too far in the past so I feel that is capital one is at fault they failed to resolve my dispute in a timely manner leaving me without recourse

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/23, I applied & was approved for the capital one XXXX XXXX because the terms stated that I would be able to use a balance transfer offer at a 0 % rate for 15 months, with a 3 % fee. Upon approval, I navigated to the balance transfer page and a message popped up saying that there were no offers on the account. This is false advertisement and deceptive because the only reason I applied for the card was because the terms and disclosures stated I would get the 15 month offer ( as mentioned above ). After calling customer service and waiting on hold for XXXX minutes and then being transferred, I was informed that offers may take up to 10 days to show on the account. The agent could not promise the offer would appear on the account though, which would be a violation of the terms that stated I would be getting an offer. There is nowhere in the terms that states it can take up to 10 days to appear nor that new accounts may not be eligible for the offer. At a minimum, I am expecting to be given the terms of the card that I applied for and was approved for, with the balance transfer offer. Additionally, the terms should be updated if there are additional eligibility rules, outside of being approved for the card AND update the terms to state that it can take up to 10 days to show on the account for use. Many other competitors allow you to submit the balance transfer during the application process, so at a minimum the terms and conditions need to reflect what CapitalOne is actually doing when the customer applies for and is approved for their card ( s ).

Consumer Complaint: I applied for and got approved for a Capital One XXXX XXXX credit card on XX/XX/XXXX. I received my sign up bonus of several points. However, when I went to try to convert them and transfer them to a third party like XXXX XXXX, the Capital One app and website asked me to verify my phone number and it would not authenticate. Upon repeated phone conversations and HOURS of trying to resolve the problem with 8 or 9 agents across 4 different departments over the span of a week, I discovered that the reason why it would not allow me to do this basic service was because my account was too new. A number of other people on XXXX are experiencing this issue. I am outraged that Capital One is blocking us from using it's advertised services, as advertised. I only signed up for this credit card because of this service that it promised. Nowhere does it say that there is a probationary period or that there would be a waiting period to use the sign up bonus. I have missed out on transfer bonuses and purchasing tickets that I would like to be reimbursed for as a result. Thank you.
