Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/ XXXX XXXX I sent a payment in to my BJs Mastercard. At the time it was serviced by XXXX. Now by Capitol one. I sent capitol one all information twice in the mail as the fax number they gave me never answers. They keep telling me my information is not sufficient and I need to contact XXXX. XXXX said they sent all files to Capital One. I sent Capital one a copy of my bill pay app page showing the payment, A copy of a portion of my bank statement showing it was paid as well as A Mastercard RPPS sheet that mastercard and my bank showing me it was paid. Capital One again charged me the {$500.00} dollars and told me I have not submitted enough information. There is no more information to submit. The Mastercard RPPS sheet has every transaction number and routing number, time and destination etc for the transaction that is possible. It is the absolute definitive evidence that can be had, yet they are still trying to steal my {$500.00}

Consumer Complaint: Good afternoon Sir or Ma'am My wife and I had opened a account with Capital One in XXXX of XXXX, we have just the one credit card. We started with a credit line of XXXX. Our monthly payment when we first opened our card was the minimum of XXXX which was very comfortable for us to make as we live on a fixed income from my Social security retirement. As time went on we noticed the payments had went up, they never alerted us as to why. We continued to make the payments, our bill is due on the 12 of the month. We pay our bills for the month on the day we get paid from Social security, we then started noticing that they were not applying our payment, we called them and said that we pay all of our bills on the same day, Capital One stated we are paying our bill too early. Our credit line increased to a final of XXXX our outstanding balance is XXXX our now minimum payment is XXXX Some months our payment changed to XXXX. They show us that even though we don't use the card anymore we cancelled the card some time back that our balance never seems to decrease, they show an interest of XXXX, it seems that no matter what we pay or when we pay our balance does not lower. This is so confusing and so frustrating. They state now that we need to pay a minimum of XXXX. They told they will not accept the original minimum of XXXX We are so confused and we are not deadbeat we pay our bills on time. Thank you for listening. All we want is for our bill to be paid off we aren't trying to beat anyone for their money. I will be more than happy to send you our banking. They told us they would credit us and they never did.

Consumer Complaint: I applied for a Capital One credit card that advertised a {$300.00} cashback offer upon spending {$500.00}. With a credit score exceeding XXXX, I felt confident about approval. Subsequently, I received approval for the QuickSilver credit card and proceeded to spend {$500.00} using it. However, upon inquiring about the expected cashback, I was surprised to learn that the QuickSilver card wasn't eligible for the advertised offer. I reiterated that I had applied precisely as instructed through the m ailed offer. However, the customer service representative clarified that I had been approved for a different card than the one I applied for. This came as a shock because nowhere during the application process was it indicated that I would not be eligible for the {$300.00} credit, especially considering my exceptional credit score. When I asked for documentation verifying that I was denied the cash back offer, they were unable to provide any such documentation. This experience has led me to suspect a bait-and-switch tactic, as the sole reason for applying was to benefit from the {$300.00} cashback offer. Consequently, it became apparent that I had just spent {$500.00} using their credit card for no benefit, except for a hit on my credit score! The discrepancy between what I applied for and what they approved me for, without the {$300.00} cashback offer, was not clearly communicated to me during the application process.

Didnt give it any thought thinking its spam, then received an email stating my card will be arriving next week. Called to have them look this up, little information was shared but they did confirm. Later today, received a text noting my email was updated. Called and they didnt want to share any information since it was currently under investigation ( which would take 90days ) My information was stolen, used without consent to open an account without verification, still on going and Im left here watching and waiting for 90 days for an investigation. I need to know what information they have and to be immediately removed.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/ I noticed that Capital One had put a restriction on both of my credit cards. I have never missed a payment on any of these cards. The last 4 years I always paid off my balance by the due date. I called customer service to find out what this is all about. They told me that the fraud department had put on restriction because in XXXX I had setup payment and then cancelled them and setup payments again. They told me that if I want to take off the restrictions I should send them a copy of these 4 documents. They also to me it can take up 10 days after I submit my documents to remove the restrictions and will call me to let me know.. State Government-Issued ID/Driver 's License - one image of the front and one image of the back Social Security Card - one image of the front of the card XXXX XXXX XXXX Statements They emailed me a link on where I should upload these documents. I uploaded my drivers license and my social security card. I also uploaded a copy of my internet bill from XXXX. I also uploaded my business checking account statement because that the only checking account I have at the moment ( I have making all my payments through that account. On XX/XX/23 I got a call from Capital One that since my bank statement doesn't show my full account number I should sent them a copy a deposit slip. I went and took a picture of a deposit slip and uploaded it to them. I called them a week later to check on my status and I was told it still hasent been resolved. I called again last week which was already 4 weeks later and was told again that it hasent been resolved. I was told that he will accelerate it and they will call me when it be resolved.. As of to day I still havent heard back anything. I have being using one of my credit cards to give to various charity organizations. They would charge my credit card a certain amount .Capital One had put a restriction on my card all charges have been declined. I am getting phone calls from organizations telling me that my credit card has been declined. It been a very embarrassing situation for me for no good reason. But XXXX XXXX Not they said we have reason to believe that XXXX $ + made by me but another transactions on the same day is not. From my experience I know that hotels put holds from XXXX $ to XXXX XXXX If it was a hold. Why it is not disappearance? Shame to Capital One.
