Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX XXXX, I was at my place of work and I received several text messages that charges were being made on my card along with ATM decline fees. I immediately called XXXX and explained that these charges were not authorized or being made by myself. I keep a fair amount of money in the account so there should have been no Decline fees. I asked the employee at XXXX " XXXX '' to put a freeze on my card immediately and she ordered me a new card for a fee. a few minutes later I received more text messages with charges and ATM decline fees from a different bank location, I again called XXXX and asked if my card had been frozen because of fraudulent charges, I was told no and I went into their website and my account a put a freeze on it manually. This after a total of {$750.00} was taken from my account plus several ATM and decline fees. I immediately filed a " Declaration Of Fraud '' with XXXX and XXXX days later received an email stating ( Based upon our investigation we have determined that no error occurred and that transaction ( s ) in question was authorized. Therefore, the transaction ( s ) is not eligible for credit to your Account ) I then was very upset and requested to have another Declaration Of Fraud opened and I sent along supporting documentation and was once again sent the exact same response as before. My co-worker who was in the office with me when this first occurred then wrote a letter on my behalf explaining again what happened along with supporting documentation and again was sent an email with the following message highlighted " Goods and Services ; Transaction was determined to be a possible billing error, otherwise valid charge, or inconclusive to be accepted as fraud. ''

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to express my serious concerns regarding the deceptive and unsafe practices employed by your company in handling my consumer credit accounts with the following reference numbers : XXXX and XXXX. It has come to my attention that your company reported to the credit bureau that I am late on payments, which is inaccurate given that I prepaid when I provided your company with a negotiable instrument upon signing the contract. I recently discovered that the negotiable instruments, serving as evidence of indebtedness, were securitized and placed into an asset-backed security without my knowledge or consent. This lack of transparency is a breach of our contractual agreement. Additionally, I would like to bring to your attention the existence of an arbitration agreement in our contract, stipulating that any disputes between us should be handled through arbitration. Contrary to this agreement, your company has taken actions such as reporting to credit bureaus and selling the accounts without adhering to the arbitration process. Furthermore, your company 's deceptive practices attempt to portray me as being in debt when, in reality, banks generate money through contracts signed by consumers, and your company benefits from the credit sale we engage in. This reversal of roles is not only misleading but also in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ). I want to highlight specific FDCPA violations : FDCPA 807 : False or misleading representations, ( 10 ) The use of any false representation or deceptive means to collect or attempt to collect any debt or to obtain information concerning a consumer. FDCPA 808 : Unfair practices, ( 8 ) Using any language or symbol, other than the debt collector 's address, on any envelope when communicating with a consumer by use of the mails or by telegram, except that a debt collector may use his business name if such name does not indicate that he is in the debt collection business. I have accumulated a significant amount of envelopes from statements sent by your company, each bearing your logo/symbol, which may constitute a violation of FDCPA 808. I demand the immediate removal of the accounts associated with reference numbers XXXX and XXXX from credit bureaus. Failure to do so will compel me to pursue legal action for FDCPA violations, defamation of character, security fraud, and additional damages. I trust that you will address these concerns promptly to avoid any legal consequences.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I was contacted by a web developer who said they were able to develop a website for my new business. We started the website on the same day XX/XX/XXXX. Throughout this time I started to realize slowly and slowly that this is a scam I found out it was a scam by searching up the business address on XXXXXXXX XXXX and seeing that many people are complaining of never seeing a product from this company. I also seen that it was a residential address and many said that it is likely that this is XXXX Scam artist once I realize it was a scam. I demanded a refund for XXXX dollars in which I was charged on XX/XX/XXXX. One of the reasons I also filed a dispute is because the agreed-upon time was 15 to 20 days as stated in the contract and with a refund policy that allowed me 100 % refund for any dissatisfaction that I may have I filed the dispute once they were still playing games and acting like they are still doing the website with no actual proof however, American Express found me liable to pay the amount. I was extremely confused on how this happened, because there was no proof that they actually performed the service for me because they never have until I requested a documentation from American Express and they showed me a documents which included a false contract a contract and never signed. It was a false contract different from the one I actually signed knowing this is a felony in all 50 states I proceeded to contact American Express and uploaded different documentation after reopen the dispute, showing the difference in contracts and how the merchant uploaded a fake forged contract using my signature which again is a felony or 50 states American Express proceeds to decline me once again confused on how this is possible even though I showed them a fake contract and the merchant uploaded links leading to my website. However, if you press on these links, they do not work because the website does not exist. I am once again opening up another dispute with American Express this time uploading, a police report for faking my signature and changing a document after signing. I filled for a Dispute 72 days after the start of the project meaning I already gave the merchant an extra 50 days to complete the project however, a total of 72 to 75 days I did not see any proof of a functioning website. The name of the merchant is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Their website is https : XXXX

Issue: Trouble using the card
Subissue: Trouble using the card to spend money in a store or online
Consumer Complaint: Ever since I received an American Express gift card for XXXX I havent been able to use it. Every time I try to buy something, it says that the card has declined or has expired. But, when I check the website it says that my card is active and my {$25.00} is still on the card. Ive done research on these Amex gift cards and saw that many others were having the same issue and most time when they call customer support, they cant understand what theyre saying or theyre straight up told that it isnt the companys fault and theres nothing that can be done. Which is one of my main reasons why I havent called support since most everyones complaints about their service is the same. I just would like my money that was gifted to me. I know its only {$25.00} but the whole point if a gift card is that youre supposed to buy the things that you want when the gifter doesnt know what to get you. If you could help thatd be nice.
