Consumer Complaint: I applied for American Express XXXX XXXX card in XX/XX/2021. The welcome offer was XXXX XXXX points if I spend XXXX dollars in the first three months. I finished this task but I did not receive the points. 1. In late XX/XX/2021, I called American Express asking them to start an investigation. They said they had told me I was not eligible for the welcome offer when I opened the account. BUT IT'S NOT TRUE. I was NEVER told I was not eligible when I submitted my application. I requested them to provide any proof to support their reasonings, and they have not been able to do so. 2. I asked them why I was not eligible, and they told me because I had already got an American Express Gold card. They also said the current terms stay the same that if you are a current customer, they can not provide the rewards points. IT'S NOT TRUE EITHER. The current terms say you are not eligible if and only if you hold the exactly same card ( In this case, the Amex XXXX XXXX card ) in the past. I never hold an Amex XXXX XXXX card before. 3. I called Amex again in XXXX and filed a new request for investigation, and the case # is XXXX

American express to check be returned to the reason for the have to account money go away, then I call ask customer service personnel why would in the middle of the night when said check be returned to? I do so perennial intended never this happens, I will require american express bank the return check coding tell me, until now american express are get not they told me check is the other requirements of the return of the program number number is how much it will not is very simple process event? As long as called american express bank come up with check be returned coding will identify ensure complete, if get not this coding digital this obvious is american express in talking fraud cheat I deposits isn't it? Consumer Complaint: Dear team I have used amex card more than three years later on want to close my card called multiple time and request to close the card after one month finally i close the american express credit card on XXXX XX/XX/2021 also i have received mail from American express your account has beed closed you can trash the card so that i follow the same. Also i check on the normal XXXX report like a XXXX its shows account closed then after couple of month XXXX they called me they said in your XXXX there was the transaction of one lak and i explain them i closed the card on XXXX month itself how its possible and they told you are the responsible the card payment orelse you can diapute to the customer we can claim from vendor. I told them unneseecory with out anything i cant complaint to vendor. Now they hit me in cibil score paymnet pending from XXXX and XXXX month. My question is if when i close the card that time was no pending Payment they clear everthing. Now they are coming with big amount of one lak. Can't accept this fraudlent from american express.

Consumer Complaint: American Express, XXXX XXXX card, received temporary card digitally with a XXXX credit limit on last Tuesday. I tried to use it at a XXXX XXXX on the following Saturday and it was declined, I called and the lady I spoke with said the temporary card doesn't cover every purchase. I said ( paraphrasing ), " I'm not aloud to use what this card is designed for? It's sole purpose is for hotel points and I can't use it at your hotel? '' It seems predatory to just get you in the door but deny you points. That stay was a little under XXXX USD, and the promo is spend {$1000.00} in the first XXXX months and you get a reward. I then tried to buy parts for my vehicle a little over XXXX USD and it was declined as well, I didn't call them this time because it's obvious who they are. I wrote a review through their customer satisfaction survey and wrote something similar to what was said here. If the temporary card can't be used, why lie? I am a victim of identity- theft, I am writing to request that you block all accounts disputed as fraudulent on my credit reports with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX. This information does not relate to any transactions I have made. I did not give anyone authorization or consent to use my personal information. I hereby exercise my legal rights enacted by Congress and The Federal Trade Commission, which explicitly states when a victim of identity-theft dispute a fraudulent account on his/her credit report it shall be honored by all credit bureaus and all fraudulent information should be blocked within 4 days and proper notification shall be given to all data furnishers pursuant to section 605b of The Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act. Subject to Subsection ( f ), if the completeness or accuracy of any item of information contained in a consumers file at a consumer agency is disputed by the consumer and the consumer notifies the agency directly, or indirectly through a reseller, of such dispute, free of charge, conduct a reasonable reinvestigation to determine whether the disputed information is inaccurate and record the current status of the disputed information, or delete the item from the file in accordance with paragraph ( XXXX ), before the end of the XXXX-day period beginning on the date on which the agency receives the notice of the dispute from the consumer or reseller. Therefore, my position is being clearly stated, these accounts do not belong to me, meaning that you are reporting inaccurate account information within my credit file. The fact that these are inaccurate account information means that you, this credit-reporting agency, are reporting incorrect accounts. 1. AMEX & {$300.00} I am well aware of my rights as a consumer. The Fair Credit Reporting Act requires that you, the credit-reporting agency report accurate and/or correct account information within my credit file. My credit issues are very specific, these accounts and/or items do not belong to me. This means that you are reporting incorrect account information within my credit report. It is this in mind that I request that these listed accounts and items be Blocked and Deleted. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act FCRA, Section 1681c ( 2 ) Block of information resulting from identity theft. 1.Block. Except as otherwise provided in this section, a consumer reporting shall block the reporting of any information in the file of a consumer that the consumer identifies as information that resulted from alleged identity theft, not later than four ( 4 ) business days after the date receipt by such agency of 1. Appropriate proof of identity of the consumer ; 2. A copy of an identity theft report 3. The identification of such information by the consumer ; and 4. A statement by the consumer that the information relating to the transaction by the consumer. I have provided all of the above listed four ( 4 ) items within this package. Therefore, I expect these listed accounts to be deleted and blocked within ( 4 ) business days. This is clearly an identity theft issue. I am also entitled to receive a free copy of my credit report, so I am requesting a free credit report and that all of these accounts, public records items, and inquiries be permanently blocked and deleted.
